No trip to Ramsbottom is complete without a trip down Memory Lane at Memories Antiques. With so much history under one roof, we are sure you will love our local Aladdin's cave of antiques, memorabilia, collectables and vintage items. AS SEEN ON T.V and featured on ANTIQUES ROAD TRIP. Large selection of vintage books and a comprehensive range of modern popular fiction from leading authors such as Lee Child and Terry Pratchett.

We have a selection of vinyl original albums and singles, from pop to rock and commercial vinyl. Sitting on the edge of the West Pennine Moors, against the backdrop of Holcombe Hill, Ramsbottom is a thriving market town in spectacular surroundings. Just 14 miles north of Manchester and with great transport links, which just happen to include a steam railway - the town is reknowned as great place to live and visit.

Passing by I thought I’d call in to view to purchase some of the ‘antiques’ they have on display. Quite enjoyable until I fall upon only what I can describe as a nosey owl on the centre desk - extremely rude, inexperienced and dismissive. I only hope the stall holders that are paying £400 a month are aware of the argumentative nature of the ‘self employed women on the front desk with the bad attitude - I shall not return!

We went tubing on the main slope. Good family fun for a five year old. Be prepared to pull your own rubber rings up the top.

Fascinating place, full of stuff I want and need in my life, German helmets, just like her mother used to own, old toys, jewellery, watches, coins. This place is more of a museum but you can buy them. Love it, every museum owner needs to visit to see how it's done. Wonderful, wonderful place.

I remember the first day I entered this place. My eyes just lit up.
The bottom floor is filled with glass cases displaying some beautiful pieces of jewellery. Moving round in a clock work direction you will find books, beads crafty items, compacts, glassware, ornaments, toys and cigarette cases..
Upstairs contains vintage accessories such as hats, fur coats , parasols, watches and all sorts.
Prepared to do some digging as there is so much to see but the reward is great. The prices are very very reasonable and the customer service is impeccable.
The only thing..bring cash as they only let you
