Been to the restaurant in Newcastle a few times and love it so, when in Corbridge for a night, it was a good opportunity to try this one. No regrets, every bit as good as the Newcastle restaurant, the food is superb, drinks not over priced and very friendly staff. Lovely ambience too.

What a super little restaurant this is. Welcoming staff and fast efficient service from start to finish. My wife's Bhuna Prawn on a puree received high praise and was polished off in no time. My King Prawn Bhaji was delicious too.
Main course was A Chicken Tikka Garlic Salon for me and Murgh Jeera Sangam for Julie. We were both delighted with the presentation and taste of the dishes. Very highly spiced and intense dishes with tender meat and not too much chilli - spot on and both plates wiped clean with a naan bread.
Highly recommended as a 'special' night; pricey but worth the extra.

Food merely OK. Vegetable side dishes small and I've had much better - garlic in tarka dhal on the burnt side of toasted. On the plus side, dealt well with an unusual request.

We're from the Midlands, apparent home of fine Indian quisine, but whenever we're in the Tyne Valley we try to visit this restaurant as the food and service is of the highest standard. On this visit the Special Bhuna Gosht was a little on the hot side but, in taking what I couldn't manage home, they provided additional yoghurt dip which tempered the fire on the next day. You get the feeling that the owner really has things in full control whilst also being most friendly and amenable to his customers. Not cheap, but worth it. We will return...

Wow, this was worth the 90 mile drive from Edinburgh. I tried everybody at the table's curry and they were up there with the best I've had. Some amazing and unique flavours, especially from the "chef's speciality" section which I would recommend going for (there's also a vegetarian "speciality" section). They have all sorts of pilau rice too, with peas, nuts, mushrooms etc. Service was friendly, and the decor and atmosphere is really nice. Lovely interior in the old railway station.
