The business was started in 1979 by Tommy Mcgrath as "McGrath Business Equipment" and was based on University Street in Belfast, The company has relocated a few times over the years as it has grown, and is now based on Belfast's Lisburn Road, trading as McGrath Office Supplies and Colour Copy Centre.
