Services
Junior kickboxing class ages 5+. A great way for your little tiger to get rid of some excess energy, have fun, gain confidence all whilst learning a martial art. Bring them down for a free trial class! We make sure that every class we teach is new varied and exciting. We avoid teaching the same class each week, as you may see in aerobics for example, the same class, every time, is not only boring for you, but it is also boring to teach.
With some martial arts associations you will pay a sizable membership fee plus a contract tying you in for anywhere up to eighteen months. After the free training is complete, normal training fees are 26 per month paid by Standing Order (equivalent to 6 per session). Family discounts and flexible options are available if you cannot train every week.
Kickboxing has given me a fun way of exercising while improving my fitness, it's also helped me gain new skills and more confidence. As for the people, they make the class, everyone is friendly, supportive and always willing to help others. I have been going for 4 years now and it's the only thing I have stuck to and enjoy it just as much now as I did when I first started.
In the early days, kickboxing was simply an adaptation of freestyle karate and other martial arts but with the addition of boxing gloves. Over 30 years of development and refinement has made kickboxing a unique sport in its own right and a highly respected martial arts discipline. Our roots in pure American Sport Kickboxing, we are not ex-Karate or ex-Kung Fu practitioners but 100% Kickboxing trained.
Sparring and training for competitions is a totally optional part of the sport and takes place in a separate additional session outside of normal class time. We sometimes train in shadow sparring during the normal classes but understandably, not everyone wants to experience full sparring. The extra session allows the training to be focused on applying the techniques safely and competitively.

I started kickboxing to get back into some exercise! I wasn't sure at first but once I had a go I knew I needed to do this! I have loved every bit since! I would recommend anyone joining- for exercise - for greats friends and for the great feel of being able to accomplish something!! This is literally for everyone!!!! <3

It's a fantastic sport, and there isn't a better club to learn it with than Derbyshire… Kickboxing. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, you feel right at home from your first session. Each week is different from the last, and you recognise the benefits almost instantly.
