With some martial arts clubs you will pay a sizable membership fee plus a contract tying you in for anywhere up to eighteen months. Private lessons are available from 25 for an hour to club members. Please arrange your private tuition with our head instructor Rajko Dokic in person or by telephone. Lau Gar was first established in the UK well over 40 years ago and has become one of the most well known and successful styles in the UK. Even though Lau Gar has become famous for it's tournament fighters, many people do not realise it's foundations and strengths are traditional in every way, from empty hand forms, traditional weapons, two person drills, hand and body conditioning.
What is it? Kickboxing has become one of the most popular Martial Art training methods throughout the UK and worldwide. Kickboxing is very popular amongst people of all ages. It is an effective system of training methods that gets people punching and kicking with some power in a short space of time.

Been with Derby Lau Gar Club for around 40 years on /off working around family life and running a business. I sometimes pop in now and then and still warmly welcome to join in.I have enjoyed learning,exercising and competing in Lau Gar and meet some wonderful people from all walks of life.I have study in many different martial arts but always seem to go back to Lau Gar because when I was young I trained hard for competition and now just to get in shape.It's nothing fancy just a good place to train for all ages...
