Karate, as we know it today, originated on the Ryukyu Archipelago, more commonly known as the Island of Okinawa, (Birthplace of Karate), Japan. The major sites were the villages of Naha, Shuri and Tomari. The traditional Kata (forms) have been handed down from instructor to student. To quote Chibana Sensei, "Karate is teaching Kata (form) we have taken from forefathers without changing it at all."
Adults soon realise that our Classes offer exciting and dynamic training for the mind, body and spirit. Trying to stay with a fitness programme or workout for most adults can be demanding, especially without a instructor or trainer.

Our martial arts school offers adults a dynamic step-by-step workout with a nationally certified instructor in every class you attend and with over 30 years experience we are sure we will be able to help you achieve your goals. In the fitness industry there are lots of alternatives available for adults, however we offer a very unique Full Body work that covers all aspects of Physical Conditioning, Cardio, Flexibility and Strength Development.
We develop your child's awareness, self-control and discipline. Our core curriculum includes hi-energy drills and skills designed to build and condition each child's attitude, behaviour and over all character. Our Junior Karate programme helps children and young adults develop greater self-discipline and self control in everything they do.
The little Ninja programme is a specially designed curriculum to help improve pre-school age children's (4-6 1/2) basic motor and listening skills. This programme is designed to help them enter society with a more positive and confident outlook to life, becoming a better student at school, better listener at home.
