The North East Ambulance Service provides award-winning, First Aid, Health and Safety and Trauma training. Since 2012, we have trained over 22,000 delegates from over 1,400 businesses and organisations.
The money that we raise through training and event cover is reinvested back into our ambulances and crews. Many of our courses, including all of our First Aid at Work courses are Ofqual regulated qualifications. At North East Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust our Specialist Skills team provides paramedic-led first aid and health and safety training.

A BVM or Ambu Bag (specific brand) is a medical device used to provide assisted ventilation to people who are either not breathing or are having trouble breathing.

The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 require employers to provide adequate and appropriate equipment, facilities and personnel to ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work. These Regulations apply to all workplaces including those with less than five employees and to the self-employed.
