Start your day with one of our delicious full English breakfasts or should you prefer something a little different, just let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate. Full English Breakfast - Grilled bacon & sausage, black pudding, baked beans, grilled fresh tomatoes, mushrooms, eggs how you like them & hash browns.
Travel down the A1/A19 towards the Tyne Tunnel then at the A1058 turn left and head towards Tynemouth, Keep on the A1058 until you reach the coast. Turn left and go along sea front for about half a mile. When you come across 4 tennis courts and a bowling green, we are situated adjacent the tennis courts in Victoria Avenue.
Within a 5 minute walk The Shikara is modern, bright and spacious but with enough cosy corners to escape into, Shikara offers a contemporary take on traditional Indian cuisine in a restaurant that offers not only depth of character, but also depth of flavour. Geordie-influenced classic dishes made freshly from scratch using local and seasonal produce to give a real taste of our beloved North East.
With an abundance of quaint little shops, boutiques, caf's and restaurants Tynemouth Village is a magnificent place to visit. It's steeped in history, has some fabulous attractions, a vast array of shops and a vibrant nightlife. It's a perfect destination for a day trip, the charming village has something to offer everyone.

This is a woderful place to stay. Cleanest guess house I've ever stayed in .quiet bedrooms lovely and comfortable Good breakfast spotless .friendly and home from home.
