Services
Penny & her husband Lee felt called to Kent just after they married 20 years ago, however they didn't make the journey until 2007.
They set up Graceworks Ministries in 2015 which would be the main not for profit vehicle for birthing projects to help families in the local and wider community of Dover, the first one being Kingdom Preschool which would see them putting together a facility that provided affordable, quality and flexible childcare for everyone to access.

It is a gorgeous, soft and nurturing environment where you will feel confident that your baby is safe, well cared for, loved and encouraged to grow and develop. We will ensure that you feel totally informed, secure & sure of your decision to place them in our care, giving you and your baby peace of heart.
We opened Fawns at the same time as Doves, because we know that once your baby is on the move they need a more "active" environment which isn't always easy to provide in a room with younger babies in it! Fawns is dedicated to supporting your baby through toddling, exploring new things, discovering new tastes and textures and developing first friendships.
Making it to the Lions room is definitely an aspirational milestone for our youngsters, we can see them excited as their 3rd birthday draws near, chatting and asking "will I go to the Lion's rooms soon?" We are not sure whether it is just another excuse to make more noise because of course lions have the biggest roar!
Our Manager, Becca has developed our woodland into a fully accredited forest school. Becca is already a level 5 early years practitioner and has completed her level 3 qualification for forest school. All her sessions take place in our very own woodland at the back of the setting. Becca has been working closely with the woodland trust to develop the space that borders with their nature reserve.

The level of care, the unique planning and how well the staff know my child is remarkable. With such focus on each individual child, I think it is note-worthy that the professional side is also of such a high standard: plenty of clear and friendly communication, easy systems in place for booking and paying etc. Plus, my child experiences freshly cooked meals, playing in their huge field and forest as well as the numerous amounts of activities we don't often do at home - foam play, sand play etc.

My son attended Kingdom when they first opened, he came on leaps and bounds there, the staff super friendly and very helpful. Although he’s now in year 2 at school he does still talk about his time at kingdom, and still talks about the fun he had there. Amazing nursery and I would recommend to anyone.

Our little one has been attending Kingdom nursery for almost a year. the staff team are so supportive and caring and make your child feel at home from day one.They have a great indoor and outdoor space to utilise and the activities they carry out in both areas are both fun and educational. The lunch cooked by Freda is lovely and it is great to know your child is getting a home cooked meal. The staff keep you updated on your child's progress and the Famly app is really useful to monitor your child's progress and to keep up to date with things going on.We are confident that Henry will continue to

My girl has been at Kingdoms for 8 months now, since she was 1 year old. She settled in really quickly, absolutely loves it and is always happy walking in. Lots of different sensory play, outdoor time, great meals. The staff are brilliant - they always welcome her and have really supported her development. The Famly app is great - giving updates after every session on meals, nappy changes and nap times as well as regular updates on what they have been up to and their development, along with photos and videos. Highly recommend and we'll hopefully be sending our second girl here too next year.

Fantastic preschool. My son has been here for a few months and in that space of time he has grown significantly. He loves going in and is very comfortable around the staff. I feel happy as through the Famly app I can see how his day is going and they do such a variety of activities and have amazing facilities that I know he is having a brilliant time.

I am absolutely blown away by the staff at Kingdom Pre School. From the moment we started our settles everyone has been incredibly helpful and kind. Last week was a stressful week for us as a family, with moving house, myself returning to work and Hudson starting Nursery. You all made this transition of Hudson starting Nursery an absolute pleasure… and it was definitely the one area I was naturally worrying about the most. Steph has been outstanding on every level, kind, honest, reassuring and I am so grateful for Hudson to have a position at the Nursery. Thank you all.

Our little one has just started Kingdom and we’ve been super impressed with how organised, clear and careful they’ve been in regards to communicating COVID regulations, as well as friendly and welcoming. We feel so confident leaving our child in their care even during a pandemic! Plus our little one has come home beaming and happy and saying,… “let’s do that again!” Thank you Kingdom for keeping our child safe and ensuring they are happy. We couldn’t ask for anything more.

I went back to work much earlier this time around with my second, so nursery seemed the most sensible option. We couldn't be happier with our choice. Our son is happy, confident and developing well. He loves the staff, especially his key worker! I trust them completely when I drop him off in the morning - and that is the most important thing.

We Highly recommend Kingdom Pre-school, They all opened their arms to our daughter in time of need (keyworkers) and was very flexible to help us carry on working. Amelia has shined her brightest at Kingdom. Their way of teaching and their values is fantastic!! Food is freshly prepared on site. Our daughter would love to go to holiday club in the future. X

I’ve sent both of my children here. The experience has been perfect. The staff are amazing and cannot do enough for them. They are growing up to be brilliant children. Due in a strong part to this excellent nursery. Both of them always ask “Am I going to nursery today” and get sad if they’re not. That is praise in itself. Cant recommend enough
