We are a friendly village preschool, established in 1967. We are based in the spacious Staple Village Hall, set in 3 acres of playing fields and with access to a children's play area, which we use daily. We also have a new garden complete with a playhouse, mud kitchen, vegetable plot and other sensory experiences.
We provide high quality care and education, for all 2 - 5 year olds. Our well planned, creative and stimulating indoor and outdoor activities are individually tailored to your child's needs. Children have access to a wide variety of resources which change daily to keep their minds active and ensure that new challenges are set.

Services
We provide quality pre-school education for all children between the ages of 2 and school age. All children are entitled to 15 hours free early years education per week from the term after their 3rd Birthday until they start Primary school. You are welcome to pay for additional hours to your child's funded entitlement at 4 per hour.
To encourage independence, parents are advised to send their children in clothing which is easy for the children to manage themselves when toileting. The pre-school provides protective clothing for the children when they play with messy activities. Although not compulsory, we also have Staple Pre-School T-shirts and sweatshirts available to buy.
Our Pre-School is a registered charity which is run by trustees called the 'Friends of Staple Pre-School'. This team is made up of parents, staff and members of the local community and meets 5-6 times a year. We are always looking for new members to get involved in your child's pre-school and bring some good ideas/new perspective.

This is such a lovely pre-school. My little ones 4 & 2 years love it. The hall and playing field offer so many activities in a safe idilic countryside setting. The staff go above and beyond to create a fun and safe environment for all the children to thrive and make close friendships. Would highly recommended it.

Love this little village pre school, perfect for my little one who loves the outdoor life, surrounded by beautiful countryside on a quiet little lane. The outdoor space is amazing with a lovely secure outdoor play area set aside for the pre schoolers, with lots for the children to explore and do. The indoor space is vast with plenty for the children to do all the time, highly recommend anyone to look for themselves! 5 star rating
