A lovely, spacious, detached property nestling in its own grounds, just one mile from the centre of Blaenau Ffestiniog, in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park. Located next to the Llechwedd Slate Caverns and at the foot of an extreme downhill mountain bike track, this Welsh cottage provides a fabulous base for getting outdoors and exploring the surrounding area.
There is also a comfortable sitting room and a further small dining area with a woodburner to relax in front of. Upstairs has five spacious bedrooms, four of them benefiting from an additional open mezzanine sleeping area, allowing flexible sleeping arrangements for larger groups.

3rd trip here and love the place.
The uplift is incredibly fast and it's not unusual to get 20 runs in if you are lucky and don't get any mechanicals (we had a few).
Trails re running sweet and the blacks can be very intimidating especially in the wet! Be careful as even the blue can catch you out.
Shame the cafe doesn't do gluten free buns for their burgers but that's more my problem and not theirs I guess.
Love the place and will be back again.
Also the dude who organises the uplift is a top bloke. 👍

Uplift takes literally 2 minutes and all the trails are amazing, loads and loads of tabletop jumps and rollable doubles on every trail, plus some super techy steep stuff on some of the red and all of the black trails. Black trails are also genuinely difficult and challenging unlike at trail centres. Also it's a non profit community run thing which is just the cherry on top.

Awesome days riding there recently, gravity based bike park, primarily tend to ride the red and black trails on the times I've been. Can be windy at the top but you've got to go expecting that given the location 😉 Highly recommended for anyone looking to progress descending, plenty to push your boundaries on at all riding levels. Make sure you've got a full face lid and the necessary protective kit.

We stayed over Christmas period with 4 families. Absolutely lovely place, the house is very clean and well looked after, very spacious and in a very good location. We enjoyed the activities of Zip World and… visited the water falls and the lovely town with all the shops, sorry don't remember the name. The only down side I would say is that the second bathroom is in an en-suite room. But other than that would definitely recommend it to anyone who will be visiting Wales and would definitely come back to this house our selves. 5/5
