Royal Ascot Golf Club
Rich in history and poised for the future, Royal Ascot Golf Club offers a rare mix of tradition, exciting social, dining and corporate facilities and a modern golf course built in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Since that time the course has matured exceptionally well with drainage that ensures you can play your golf at Royal Ascot in all seasons.

Boasting tournament-standard greens we are proud hosts of regular Opens, the Jamega Tour, Pro-Am events and member competitions that are played throughout the year. If you're considering joining RAGC, our new member "Buddy Scheme" will ensure you get to play social golf with a friendly roll-up group at a time most convenient to you.
Services
Royal Ascot is based in the south west corner of Windsor Great Park and is the jewel in Berkshire's golfing crown. The course was designed by Jonathan Tucker of the Sports Turf Research Institute and built by J & E Ely, who altered Royal Troon for the 2004 Open Championship.

During course build, protected saplings were planted along the edge of a number of fairways and now that these trees have begun to mature, there are some treacherous lies to be found should you miss the fairway - take your medicine, come out sideways and give yourself a chance of keeping your score alive.
Visitors and Guests are very welcome at Royal Ascot Golf Club. We promise you a challenging game of golf and great hospitality at the 19th hole, Bar 1887. After completing your round our Clubhouse bar offers a wide range of beers, wines, spirits and non-alcoholic drinks to suit everyone.

You can also enjoy the excellent food on offer from our daily menu and our catering staff will be available to help you choose a specific selection for your society day.Our visitors are expected to conform to the Club's Dress Code that is identified as smart casual.
Royal Ascot Golf Club is the ideal setting for Society and Corporate Days with many parties returning year after year. Tournament quality greens and a free draining golf course guarantee we are open all year round. Two loops of nine holes coming back to the clubhouse, give flexibility on start options and a variety of in house catering options are available to suit all tastes.
Traditional collared or crew neck golf shirts to be tucked into trousers, shorts, skirts or skorts at all times. Tailored waist length golf shirts need not be tucked in. Mobile devices must be on silent in the clubhouse; calls should be taken on the patio or in the car park. The Club Steward or staff on duty have the right to bring to the attention of any member or visitor the fact that their dress may not be adhering to the dress code.
The club can be found on the Winkfield Road which runs parallel (and underneath) Royal Ascot race track. From the M3, exit at junction 3 and head north on the A322 Bracknell Road and right onto the Swinley Road toward Ascot at the first fork. This brings you to the main roundabout - take the third exit down Ascot High Street, straight ahead at the first roundabout and left at the second roundabout onto A330 Winkfield Road.

Always a pleasure to play this course. Some challenging and deceptive holes but because this is a flat course, suitable for those who find hilly courses a challenge.
Very welcoming staff and members.
The clubhouse is large and can be sectioned off to accommodate societies or small parties.

There are no maps handed out, there are no signs showing how to get to the next hole. Not an attractive course. I will not play there again.

Played this course for the first time today in lieu of the COVID cancelled Seniors open. Very enjoyable and interesting course so we will definitely be back for next year's Senior's Open. We received a very warm welcome. The service was excellent as was our lunch. Highly recommended

Big thanks to all the staff at Royal Ascot for a very enjoyable morning with one of your members. Tom in the Pro Shop was extremely helpful and gave me a very warm welcome and Stuart the Club Steward gave me a very warm welcome which would really encourage me to go back. As a former Club Professional I know what guests appreciate and for me this was a high quality experience. Stuart Campbell PGA Golf Coach Lavender Park Golf Centre

I am biased as I am a member of this club, but it is a very friendly club and the course at the moment even though it's winter is in superb condition. Why not come and try it for yourself.
