After attending the famous Wandee Culinary Art School in Bangkok, I have been working as a private chef and in Tana Thai, one of Bedford's most famous restaurants. Passionate about Thai cuisine, I have always been eager for everyone to discover its beauty. Every time I cook, I do it as if I cook for my own family, using only the very best ingredients and lots of love.

I hope that through the traditional and delicious Thai dishes I create, you too will discover a whole new world of flavours and nutrition. Our restaurant is available for private events: birthdays, business lunches, dinners, cocktail receptions, and more. We would love to discuss how to be a part of your next event.

Bottomless Brunch every Saturdays Report

Drinking to excess won't be permitted & we reserve the right to cease serving at any time. Bottomless Brunch bookings are 90-minute slots which start at the time of your booking. Your slot will not be extended for late arrivals. Our policy is that only guests who can prove they are 18 & above can be served alcohol for their own consumption and due to the nature of this package all members of the party must be over 18.

We booked for 16 family members for boxing day ..we prebooked our menu and offered the back room.when arrived they were so accommodating allowing us to sit in square so we were able to enjoy each others company. The drinks and food were given promtly with no problem at all. Everyone couldnt speak high enough of the quality of food. They supplied us with karaoke machine which was such good fun thankyou for lovely night.

Delicious. Flavorful and nicely balanced with a medium amount of heat (I didn't ask for mild, hot, just wanted to try it 'how it came'). Not the cheapest out there, but was in no way disappointed.

Food was amazing! authentic, delicious, however, we were seated near the door so hat the Saturday night takeaway queue standing right next to us watching us eat, so lost a star for that

Nice Thai restaurant. Good menu selection. I had Chicken Pad Kee Mao which was spicy and great for my palette, my daughter had Chicken Gaeng Massaman Curry which was delicious. Lots of Chicken which was very tender. They do lots of takeaway which was slowing service for those dining in it seemed.

Forgive the bright purple exterior and you will have an amazing meal here. The food and service was top class. I had special ribs which were delicious and a decent size starter portion and it was a treat to have some Thai desserts on the menu too, banana fritters were awesome!

We moved out of Bedford a year ago and had always eaten here and been happy with everything even though a little on the expensive side so when our friends asked us to stay over we booked a table. We were very disappointed the service was slow the food was not very hot and when ordering more drinks it took ages for them to arrive we sat for half hour after finishing our meal without anyone coming over to clear the table so we decided not to order more drinks and was not asked if we would like desert before our bill was put on the table don't think we go back

Found tana Thai on the gourmet society website. I never knew such amazing food was available in Bedford. The… restaurant is unassuming and relaxed, the staff were polite and left you alone to enjoy the food without ignoring you. The food was stunning, fresh, hot, well presented and the flavours were so clean and balanced. We’ve eaten in some very good restaurants over the years but this is at the top, surpasses the IVY and the oriental restaurant in Harrods could learn some lessons from tana Thai. Number one on our list of favourites now

Went here because of the reviews and we weren't disappointed. Really good friendly staff, ample parking and the best part - the food! The Tom Yum soup was simply divine and the noodles were great too. I had the pad kee Mao, which was full of flavour. All my colleagues were full of praises too. Reasonably priced and it was busy for a Wednesday night - which is always a good sign I guess. We are not from Bedford and really glad that we came across this place.
