Tam and Sandra would like to welcome you to Duirinish Guest House situated in Portree, the Isle of Skye's largest town. Duirinish is located on Viewfield Road and only a five-minute walk from the lively town centre, where there are parks, restaurants, pubs, shops, banks and the harbour where boat trips and fishing can be arranged.
We are also only a short distance from the Aros Visitor Centre with its shops, restaurant, and small theatre and cinema. Portree is an ideal place to base yourself for all your holiday activities on the Isle of Skye. Exploring castles and museums or walking, cycling or climbing in the famous Cuillin mountains and surrounding countryside.

Services
We dreamed of running a Guest house for a number of years and after our daughter studied in the university in 2019, our dream started to grow arms and legs. We love the Isle of Skye. When we made our decision to move away from Edinburgh. It is the first place jump into our mind. My husband Tam who used to be a Taxi driver in Edinburgh, worked most of the nights, we rarely have time together.
Please inform us in writing as soon as you know you need to cancel your booking so we can try to re-sell the rooms. We will do everything we can to fill the cancellations, and between mid-April to mid Oct we rarely have problems selling rooms. We do recommend that you have travel insurance in the event of cancellation at short notice.

We have stayed in five B&B guest houses over the previous five nights touring Western Scotland and Skye. Duirinish was by far the best and ticks all boxes. Super friendly staff, room amenities are excellent and breakfast is everything you could ask for. The location is a short walk into Portree centre, a great location to base day trips from, and fuel is only 200m away. We will definitely be booking when visiting Skye again. 100% recommended, look no further.

Tam and Sandra are very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was very good, a very comfy bed and a good shower. Breakfast was very good you can have continental or full English or both. The location is great less than 5 min from town centre. If I visit Skye again I would definitely stay here again.

My friend and i stayed here as a last-minute booking about two months ago. The owners were very welcoming and catered to any needs that were requested.
Located only a 3mins drive / 10mins walk from the local town, they're in a very good location.
The room itself along with the bathroom was quite large and clean, and the beds were very comfy.
Their price was very reasonable and considering the other B&B's in the area, they offered very much the same service at a cheaper price. I would highly recommend staying here, and if the opportunity arises again, they'll certainly be the first ones i look
