Blairdhu House is beautifully furnished throughout to a high standard, all rooms are en-suite with TV, WiFi, tea/coffee making facilities, radio, hairdryers and ironing facilities. Two twin bedrooms, one family room that can accommodate 3 persons, plus four double rooms are available. We offer an extensive breakfast menu, some of the popular choices are.
Kyleakin offers some lovely walks. Right beside Blairdhu House is a beautiful forest walk, this will take you around 45 minutes, from the top, there is a spectacular view point where you can see for miles. There is also a lovely walk towards the ruins of the Castle and along the shoreline. In the evening many of our guests take a leisurely stroll to the top of the bridge to see the beautiful sunsets, which are truly spectacular.
Armadale Castle Gardens and Museum of the Isles is set in the heart of a 20,000 acre Highland estate. The Trust has restored the gardens and part of the Castle, created the Museum of the Isles, founded the Study Centre, built holiday accommodation and established a visitor centre that appeals to all age groups.
You can reach us by most local services, the train or bus from Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh. Scottish City Link Run Everyday from Glasgow and Inverness. The scenic route by rail from Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh runs 4 times per day in the season.
