Pupil premium funding from the government is given to schools to help pupils reach their full potential, regardless of their background or financial situation. Child Tax Credit (provided you're not also entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual gross income of no more than 16,190). Universal Credit, provided you have an annual net earned income not exceeding 7,400 (616.67 per month).
The funding has been provided to ensure impact against the following objective: "To achieve self-sustaining improvement in the quality of PE and sport in primary schools". It is important to emphasise that the focus of spending must lead to long lasting impact against the vision (above) that will live on well beyond the Primary PE and Sport Premium funding.
