Cushendall Golf Club
Cushendall Golf Club is a Golf, Social & Community club based in the heart of the beautiful Glens of Antrim. Founded in 1937 and affiliated to the Golfing Union of Ireland in 1938. A major feature of this picturesque but challenging nine hole course, is the river Dall which creates out of bounds at seven of the nine holes as it meanders through the course to the legendary Sea of Moyle.

It is from the legend of the "Children of Lir", who spent four hundred years as swans of this turbulent sea, that the Club takes its "four swans" crest.

The fascinating sweep down memory lane's eight decades of the Golf Club's history is captured mainly through the direct and anecdotal recall of the members.
As Captains of Cushendall Golf Club and on behalf of all our members, it is a pleasure to extend a warm welcome to our club nestled here in the Heart of the Glens of Antrim. Indeed there are few visiting golfers who have not left us feeling somewhat envious of this little treasure.

The course presents a fair test of skill in a truly attractive setting and the welcome received in the well-appointed club house is in keeping with the reputation we have as being one of the friendliest clubs in the region, a reputation of which we are very proud. We are very privileged to have one of the best golf club restaurants in the North.
You are making a good choice in bringing your golf society to Cushendall Golf Club. It is situated it the Glens of Antrim overlooking the sea of Moyle with the Mull of Kintyre in view. Whilst it is only 9 holes it offers a challenge to any level of competency.

It is small and picturesque and is bounded by the quaint village of Cushendall (Known as the capital of the Glens) on the landward side, whilst the waves of Red Bay pound its northern shores. The River Dall meanders through the course to the sea and it is to its presence that the course owes its" tricky" reputation.
Cushendall Golf Club's Health and Safety Policy aims to help protect our members, staff, visitors and other users of the golf course. It is the responsibility of all members and golfers to ensure they read and follow the policy document for the use of the course. This policy has been designed, not to spoil the enjoyment of your round, but to enhance it by keeping all golfers and walkers as safe as possible.
Initial taster sessions include provision of golfing equipment if required and coaching (minimal charge applies). In 2018, 30 ladies and 7 men took part in the Get-into-Golf Programme, all the men and 17 ladies signed up for the follow-on membership offers. In 2019 we had 20 ladies and 11 men who took part in our Programme, 15 of the ladies joined as members along with all 11 men.

Great course with friendly staff. Great prices for a round too. A small course where the driver has to be left in the bag on many holes for the long hitters but very technical. Perfectly suited to someone who has a knack with the long irons. Prepare to lose balls in the river on a bad day. Great greens most of the year round too.

Fantastic 9 hole course with some tricky par threes and tight par fours! Nice club house and good service. No visitors lockers. Not for the faint hearted!
