We were lucky enough to get a table here on New Year's Eve. Upon arrival, the service was great and well thought through right down to the smallest detail. And then the food and drink arrived, and some how it got even better!
We could not fault anything and will definitely make the effort to return if we are back in the area again.

Came here to celebrate 7 years together, nice to go somewhere a bit fancy and this place has been on our list for a while! No issues with the £80 deposit, as unless you plan on not showing up then what's the problem. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. We went for the 5 course tasting menu and the food was great, lovely flavours and well presented. Small portions as is with this style of food, but at least that way you can enjoy the flavours of every course. Extensive selection of wines, maybe a little more expensive that I would expect, but more than enough to choose from

Booked many months in advance off the back of a review on the television and we were not disappointed. 2.5 hr drive to get to you. 7 courses. Well presented and very tasty. Service is not pretentious. Staff knew the menu and their wines inside out. Will definitely be back. The only criticism I have is that on your invoice, you should state that the service charge is discretionary, but we had a wonderful Sunday afternoon in a beautiful little restaurant. Thank you very much😊

This was a between Christmas and New Year treat for us. Having seen both The Pig and the Elderflower on Remarkable Places to Eat with Fred and Chris, both looked to tick all the boxes for us. We lunched at the Elderflower on 29th December. The 4-course tasting menu, accompanied by the paired wine flight was fabulous. Beautifully cooked and presented by a knowledgable, welcoming and polite team, it certainly did tick all of the boxes. A fabulous way to spend the afternoon in lovely Lymington.

This sophisticated little restaurant, set in the pretty town of Lymington, serves up a delicious ‘surprise’ tasting experience, using local, seasonal ingredients. Full of little flavour bombs... this is impeccable cookery at its best. Service is highly professional, explaining each dish as they serve. We visited on a Sunday lunchtime, so did not have the full experience of eating the dishes with wine pairings, which we have heard to be excellent, so we will definitely go back.

Everything! As a previous restaurateur myself, I appreciate how hard it is to get right! This couple are a pair of genuises. Her front of house skills are impeccable and staff, we had such lovely servers who explained each dish and even took back my Mother's Venison to have it cooked more. (in my opinion it did not need it) The 4 course lunch… taster menu was nothing short of perfection! I am one fussy woman but I honestly wish I was there for the 7 course taster menu, I didn't want it to end. I ordered a bottle of Pecorino white which was perfect but I needed red for the Venison, the Malbec

A fantastic dining experience, we had the 4 course lunch and the food was delicious. Service is impeccable. Beautiful and simple clean lines of decoration with a calm and relaxed atmosphere.
You will need to pay a £40 pp deposit and it is a venue for a special occasion, a quite expensive.
The restaurant is located in the lovely quayside town of Lymington. You will need to book well before your intended visit - but it's worth it.
Make sure you give yourself plenty of time for parking and walking to the venue (pedestrian area).
