Services
The main hall is approximately 8m x 12m, with a capacity of up to 140 seated 'theatre style' or 120 seated at tables. The hall has an extendable stage and the latest sound and video system, with two DVD/Blue Ray players, handheld and lapel mikes and laptop/tablet/smartphone connectivity. There is free WiFi access and a sound loop for those guests who are hard of hearing.
Our community events include musical and theatrical productions, film nights, fetes, fireworks nights and many sporting fixtures. Dance and fitness classes are run in the hall and the recreation grounds: ballet, boot camp, Pilates, yoga. Lodsworth is a very active community and the village hall and recreation grounds are central to many, many of our activities.
Every corner provides a leafy vista. To reach the village hall you must pass The Hollist Arms, a welcoming free house, sitting contentedly in the centre of the village. Its charms are hard to resist. As you drive past the left-hand side of The Hollist and continue over the cross roads, you will find the entrance to the village hall and recreation grounds on your right.
This list of local businesses is provided to help you plan your event. It should not be taken as any form of recommendation. Anyone using the services listed should satisfy themselves that they will meet their requirements. Relax before and after your event in our beautiful 15th century public house, idyllically set overlooking the green in the heart of our picturesque village.

This is in a little country village in west sussex. There is a stalwart group who run this place. Many things in the village revolve around the village hall. Sadly thére are few Lodsworth Villagers from the old west sussex families left living there now. Like myself most have moved on. Usually by way of marriage. My sister still lives there and I visit.
There is a football and cricket team and a stoolball team. Tennis courts and a croquet lawn. A playing ground for children and fitness equipment for adults! You can hire rooms in the hall under the usual terms. You do have to fend for yourselves

Absolutely superb venue!
The Association of Professional Landscapers held an event during February 2018 in partnership with Alan Sargent Consultancy Ltd, hosting a seminar for fifty Designers and Contractors.
Everybody was delighted with the Hall, its' facilities and especially car parking room.
We will most certainly be back!
