I'm Amanda, Creative Director, mother of 3, foodie, stylist, and lover of the Arts and Design. I started my career as a professional hair and makeup artist, graduating from London Collage of Fashion. I had many successes with work published in some fab publications such as Vogue and Tatler.
I spent many a long day on the most design led sets imaginable, I was so i inspired by what could be achieved, I found a passion for styling & theming for events and I've never looked back.With 15 years of event styling under my belt, in 2015 Hire Your Day was born. Each and every day, my world is with brimming with creative flow, colour, textiles, flowers, planning and sourcing beautiful props.

Based in Worthing, our Showroom and Design Studio is a hive of creativity and inspiration. A consultation at the Showroom, surrounded by dcor and props, is a brilliant way to visualise your ideas, and so much fun! Hire Your Day were an absolute joy to work with. Firstly, they were super kind and understanding of our multiple delays as a result of Covid. And, finally when we were given the go ahead we met Laura (only 2… weeks away from our wedding) and she just had the most amazing vision for our venue, I was so excited about it! And, while I knew it would look fabulous, I cannot describe how happy I was with the finished result. They brought the venue to life with lots of greenery, trees, lights...just amazing! Not only did they do an amazing job, they are just lovely. Kind, patient and creative!

We first met Amanda at a wedding fayre in 2018, we knew from all of her beautiful displays that we wanted to hire the items rather than purchase myself. Amanda was always happy for us to meet her to discuss our… thoughts and ideas, given her experience she was able to give us some food for thought and more often than not we would love her ideas more! Covid changed our plans and so we had to go back to the drawing board about our popcorn table, my heart melted when I saw the final look of the idea we had quickly scrapped together two weeks before the big day. Amanda decorated my lounge, conservatory and garden for my 17th party!
Me and my friends all couldn’t believe how stunning my house looked, it was just amazing! The photos had during the night just looked even better against the flower wall.
I couldn’t fault anything! I had everything I asked for and everything ran smoothly on the day.
