A GP, nurse or pharmacist will generally not give you a prescription for over-the-counter (OTC) medicines for a range of minor health conditions. Instead, OTC medicines are available to buy in a pharmacy or supermarket. The team of health professionals at your local pharmacy can offer help and clinical advice to manage minor health concerns.
BMC has a Carer's Support Team. Sarah, Lynn & Maria are members of our Clerical & Reception Team who are also here to offer support to our patients who are carers, including young carers. Their role as the Carer's Support Team is to signpost carers to services and organisations which may be able to offer them help and support.

Absolutely Terrible!! will be moving doctors immediately and will never contact or ask for their help again, patients seems to be a total inconvenience , the staff are immensely rude I don't think I have had such bad customer service and rudeness from any other service. Its so shocking how bad this surgery has got, I am sick of being attacked and spoken to like a piece of dirt on the phone, they almost come on the phone looking to pick an argument with patients, that's how their attitude comes across. Just not a nice or pleasant experience or service. Not quite sure how bad you have to be to get

Absolutely disgusting the way the receptionist spoke to me today whilst handing in a letter for the nurse. Why do the think they can get away with this kind of behaviour towards their patients. Very rude and abrupt. Yet they tell the patients to be kind to staff when calling , I'm afraid it works both ways.. I do wish I had got her name and hope the practice manager deals with this sort of rude abrupt behaviour. A blonde lady, glasses sitting on the left hand side as you walk in.. Monday 15th Nov. At 5.15 pm . You need to get some manners...

If I could leave zero stars I would, 111 referred me to see my GP as they wanted me to be seen within a couple of days and sent them an email but I still needed to book the appointment so I phoned Tuesday at 12pm to be told no more appointments and to phone the next morning... I phoned at 8.30am Wednesday and spoke to a rude receptionist at 9am to be offered a phone consultation 2 weeks later 🙄
Totally unacceptable 😡

Well what can I say about my vist. Three receptionist sat behind screen, one very helpful the other two gossiping while another patient waited. Before anyone comments "they were discussing work" they most definitely weren't, it was so rude. When the Gentleman was acknowledged, the receptionist was extremely unhelpful to the point of being rude.
After the Gentleman left, I asked this receptionist a question regarding a test result. Omg she kept interrupting me, and I had to ask her to let me finish speaking. So rude and totally unhelpful.
It might be beneficial for these two receptionist to have

It seems you now have to queue outside at 8am for the few appointments available that day ( and that's just a phone call) in the past they had 10 partners, now just 2 GPs and the manager. Can't even get routine blood tests, it's verging on dangerous, especially if you have multiple health conditions that should be monitored.

Everything was fine: the sign in, the waiting time and the service up until the last minute when I mentioned that the nurse missed where I had an issue during her examination and then she turned on me! Asked me to leave because I was "threatening". I was talking to her in a calm voice and explaining that her interpretation of threatening behaviour was wrong. getting up in her face or being verbally aggressive is threatening behaviour. I was neither of these, I was concerned with my own health. She swung the examination room door open and asked reception to ring the police. I walked out and in the

The worst thing you could ever do for your health is join this practice. Try as they might, they fail the community they serve time and time again!!
You'd be better off stopping a stranger on the street and asking medical advice over trying to get anything useful from this surgery.
It's impossible to get an appointment, iv been told on 4 different occasions I'll get a call....and its not happened. My husbands had it happen at least 3 times.
I feel so let down by this surgery I'm in the process of changing doctors.
