Master McGraths Restaurant and Lounge Bar has been welcoming customers since 1992. Under the ownership and personal direction of Jim and Trudy Sines, our business continues to flourish. We have built our reputation on the traditional values of integrity, a warm welcome, personal service, inspired menus and the finest produce.

McGrath's menu offers amazing variety. Chef Frank Burrell has drawn on a lifetimes experience (and he's no spring chicken!) to showcase his culinary expertise, sourcing of fine, local ingredients, team leadership and his ingenuity for menu planning and organisation.
Services
All our dishes are prepared using local, seasonal and Organic ingredients or produce where possible. Fish is sourced from sustainable stocks. We take great pride in the quality of our Sunday roasts, which run alongside the A La Carte menu. Lancashire Pork with Crackling, Apple Sauce and Stuffing, Sirloin or Topside of Beef with Yorkshire Pudding, our famous carvery roast platter.
With many years of experience, we pride ourselves on providing a professional and sensitive service at receptions following funerals in Southport and Burscough. We offer a selection of buffet menus which can be mixed and matched to suit personal taste. We appreciate that the nature of funerals make forward planning difficult, but will strive to help plan the arrangements and to assist at what is a difficult time for those involved.
Given these very testing times we have had to massively reduce our menu to allow for distancing in the kitchen. Given the limited amount of stock we now have our options are going to be limited however we will endeavour to cater for everyone as we always have. Giving us a call to discuss options before arriving will allow us to ensure we can provide suitable options.
Master McGraths is always on the look out for great people. We focus on individuals with certain core qualities, enthusiasm, lust for hard work, fun, motivated and most importantly the want to succeed and wow our customers. We believe it is our job to coach our people into the correct way and therefore we do not believe that experience within the industry is at the forefront of importance.

Lovely little quality restaurant disguised as a pub.
Master McGraths is a really high quality restaurant but you could easily drive past and have no idea it is there. Food and service impeccable, a little more expensive but well worth it. The only real downside is it is a little isolated in the village of Scarisbrick. Highly recommended for special occasions.

Fabulous meal as always at Masters.. Great service, home cooked food beautifully presented! We all had the roast Turkey dinner. Generous portions and cooked to perfection. Master McGraths never disappoints!

Excellent Sunday dinner, can highly recommend the three meat platter. All cooked to perfection. Good size portions and fast service once ordered. If you want a traditional Sunday roast in quaint traditional surroundings, this is for you.

Had the best evening dining out last night.

The restaurant is beautiful and the staff were so nice and helpful. Now for the food... Thai fishcake to start was beautiful and the flavours of the plate went really well together. Main I had lamb shank in a red wine jus. It was so soft I had to scoop it with my fork, perfect choice of vegetables to go with it! For desert we got a mix of 4 deserts. Interesting tastes and it was nice to try things we wouldn't normally pick. All in all it made for the perfect valentines day date night❤️ thank you!

Excellent family owned pub/restaurant run by Jim & Trudy - as evidenced by their names emblazoned on the barrel-derived seating at the front of the building.
The interior is very traditional - beamed ceilings, dark wood panelling, animal heads and old pictures - with a restaurant on one side and bar on the other. The food is homemade - good ingredients, simply cooked. A very friendly welcome in these Covid-19 times - everything felt safe and well managed whilst still maintaining a nice atmosphere. Great job, guys!

Wow. I love this place.
Massive & varied menu (which the kitchen seem to be able to cope with).
Really prompt service (despite the restaurant being packed on a Saturday night).
Food of the highest quality & perfectly cooked.

Just had a wonderful 3 course meal. Both myself and the wife had the best fillet steak I've had in this country; they were about 2 inches thick and cooked to a perfect medium rare (not easy with a hunk of meat this large).

If my stomach could take the abuse, I'd be here every night. The menu is so large I think you could select different combos each night
