Brown Plant Hire was formed in 1989 as a division of James Brown (Kilmarnock) Limited which itself was founded in 1954. Following a demerger in 2004 Brown Plant Hire was incorporated as a Limited Company and began trading in it's own right.
The original policy, which still takes effect to this day, was to provide the best operators and most up-to-date plant backed up with regular and consistent maintenance to the manufacturers standards, which, together with the hands-on approach taken by Alan Brown enable us to provide our customers with the most cost-effective solution to sourcing all types of construction plant in the Ayrshire, South West and the West Central Scotland area.

Services
Our plant is regularly renewed, usually within our thirty-six month renewal cycle to ensure maximum productivity and minimum unscheduled downtime. Due to our focussed management structure we are able to respond quickly to our customers requirements with the ability to add items of plant to our fleet promptly on demand.
