This is a cheap hotel so don't expect much more than a no frills night stay. The main thing is the room was clean and tidy. It's just very tired and old fashioned. Leaks from rain in corridor were being taken care of by 2 buckets in the middle of the floor which you have to step over.
Staff were accommodating and nice. Happy to help with were to park and explain services offered.

I wouldn't call 80 pound a night a budget hotel . The so called free WiFi isn't worth having . The free car park has old dirty mattresses in it and just looks dirty. They have a lift but there is no way I'd trust going in it . The rooms don't look like the pictures and are very dated .

1st room smelt of cigarette smoke moved to another one, then both nights sounded like someone was trying to get in the room next door ,lots of banging. It's situated on a very busy road so very noisy. The room was extremely hot , I had to have the fan on all the time. Water pouring down the outside of the window from the bathroom above. It was very clean. Unfortunately there was no food or drinks available in the restaurant. The staff were polite & as helpful as they could be. But I won't be staying there again

I say there with my friend. Had a double room. There is not a chance those double beds were double...... We both struggle to sleep in it...... will think Very carefully before rebooking...

Lovely when you walk on to reception rooms a little bit dated but really clean. 10 mins to town centre. Cheap and cheerful.

Could hear everything going on in the corridors and next rooms. There is a party that continuted until 2am in one of the function rooms that is unbearably loud , meaning I’ve had zero sleep so far despite trying to go to sleep at 10pm (not an unreasonable request). I called the front desk twice and got told "it's finishing soon", but it still continued as I left the hotel at 2am to leave and go and get a better night's sleep in my car on a quiet country lane.

Phoned up the hotel to book a double room for a one night stay as we were attending a wedding and party in Derby. The person answered the call said there 2 double rooms available, I asked to book one and was ready to pay over the phone but the man on the phone gave the option to reserve it and pay at the hotel which I agreed to.
When I rang up the day we supposed to travel to confirm the room, there was NO BOOKING under my name and left us with the option to look somewhere else. To be fair she was apologetic. I cant commend on any other services as I have never been there.
