Established in 1901, Burbidge's Bakery has been serving the community of Andover with baked goods for many years. The bakery is staffed by a dedicated team under the direction of Steven Burbidge. Burbidge's have always produced quality, consistency and innovation in all that we produce. We are also committed to only buying the highest quality ingredients for our products and source only from suppliers who share our commitment to excellence.
Services
We aim to offer a friendly and traditional service at all times and pride ourselves on the freshness of all our products. Our experienced team of bakers start early in the morning, to ensure the freshness of every loaf of bread they produce. Using the finest quality of blended flours from our primary miller Heygates, you can be assured of the continual high standard of our baked goods.
As a lover of meeting people and being alone sometimes I feel this is a great opportunity to raise money, hitch hiking and visiting the odd Rotary Club on my journey, specking of good will I have found hitch hiking over the past years. Its very difficult to explain to people the excitement of hitching, its a little bit like fishing, you try all sorts of tack tics to catch that lift.

Twice now iv been in for sourdough bread , as its the only bread my stomach can take , again today my son asked for sourdough bread , he brought it home i said thats that sourdough, he said cut it and see , and guess what it wasn’t sourdough, 😖😣 phoned them up a happy lady answered the phone , and when i told her the loaf i picked up wasn’t… sourdough her voice changed and seemed to be funny , i said its not sourdough she was adamant it was just going round in circles sojust had to hang up with her rude customer service, I know the smell and texture of sourdough

Wow wow wow hands down the best bakery food I have ever eaten in my entire 45 years in this planet. Buttery crisp pastry, real cuts of tasty meat in the pasties and chocolate that had flavour not just sweet and sugary. Shall be a regular customer from now on.
