We are so excited to have Niamh Connor teaching for us at CJs. Niamh trained at Bird College, one of the top dance colleges in the UK and will be teaching our Street, Performers and Contemporary/Commercial Classes. She is a fantastic teacher, with so much enthusiasm. We have had a great first week on Zoom and some fantastic dancing from you all.

Our dancers are truly inspirational the way they have adapted to changes so quickly again. Proud of you all. Please send us any photos you have of you taking part in zoom classes, you. About CJs Report

CJ's Dance and Fitness has been established now for twenty seven years and provides one hundred young people the opportunity to participate in various dance forms every week. For many youngsters CJ's becomes a huge part of their life throughout their educational years and their final show is a tear jerker for both teachers and pupils.

Teachers Report

Carol has been teaching for 35 years. On leaving University she worked in primary education for six years before deciding to leave and open CJ's. During her years she has accumulated a vast array of knowledge in the teaching field including dance forms from Ballet to Ballroom and Cabaret to Street.

I’m New Here Report

We have a waiting area for parents or you can drop them off and collect them at the end if you prefer. For very young children in the tiny toes class we have a team of older helpers and two teachers in this lesson to enable us to give each child the attention they need to settle into class. We don't have parents in classes whilst they are going on as children tend not to join in.

Class Fees Report

Families who have 3 or more siblings taking dance lessons at CJs will receive a 15% discount. Families where 3 or more siblings each take 4 or more classes will receive a 20% discount. Once your child has tried a class and decided to continue, we will contact you via the email address you wrote on the contact form, giving you a monthly amount, Please can you then set up a standing order.

Dance Wear Report

Please see below for more information about what your child will need to wear for different dance classes and examinations at CJ's. Many of the items mentioned are specific as they have to fit in with examination regulations and show requirements, so please order uniforms from us, it is also often cheaper to do it this way.
