We are an independent Pharmacy dedicated to the individual needs of the community we serve. Retail pharmacy within the NHS is constantly moving forward, and so we pride ourselves on being able to offer an efficient up-to-date service to all our customers. Situated inside Ash Trees Surgery, we provide a full dispensing and prescription service.
Services
We dispense both NHS and private prescriptions. We also keep a record of what we supply, so we can tell whether it is safe for you to take a newly prescribed medicine together with any other medication you may be taking. The labels on your medicine will alert you to any precautions you should take, such as avoiding alcohol or not driving.
Once requested via your surgery, your regular prescribed medicines can be collected directly from the pharmacy. Prescriptions can also be done electronically via EPS (Electronic Prescription Service), with Ash Trees Pharmacy listed as your nominated pharmacy. Please ask in the pharmacy for more information about this service.

After attending Ash Trees for 50 years and having excess and asthma from birth I now have difficulty getting a repeat prescription for an inhaler , no record of my usage , online only applications
Past usage history no doubt lost with IT problems
I don’t have internet so can’t comply with online mandate
Travel on there and there are huge queues and 3 ladies chatting behind reception
Never been required to see an asthma nurse despite being a ventolin inhaler user for 50 yrs
Third world levels of organisation from whoever is practice manager not the staffs fault
