Great selection of contemporary frames, including brands you rarely see elsewhere. The service was excellent and staff even went out of their way to bring out frames not on display. The pricing is straight forward and in my opinion, very competitive. On top of that, my glasses were ready for pick-up in 24 hours.

Contact lens appointments are 60.00 but are discounted for existing customers based on their spend - we want to reward loyal customers! After graduating from City University with an Honours Degree in Optometry in 1989, Abhay went on to work under the tutelage of one of the pioneers of contact lenses at Moorfields Eye Hospital.
In order for us to fit your new lenses you'll need to send us your existing frame (or you can bring it in to one of our stores). Instructions for this will be given after you've placed your order, and you'll generally receive your reglazed spectacles within three working days of receipt of your frame.

The team at Iris Optical (Tower Bridge) is simply amazing. They are all very knowledgeable but also very tentative and friendly. I was extremely well looked after and all my queries were expertly addressed. They also have a very diverse collection catered to all tastes. I have used Iris Optical for a number of years now. As always the service is impeccable and the frames and lenses were very the cheapest I could find. It's unfortunate that the city store has closed especially as it was near to my office, however the communication and service combined with the value for money make the slightly longer trip worth the extra effort. I would highly recommend Iris Optical and Elliott and will continue to use them as my optician.

I had gone to Iris Opticals at Tower Bridge to get my wife's eyes tested and to get her a new pair of prescription spectacles. The service was fantastic and the staff were very professional and lively. I liked the selection of frames that they have and the staff helped my wife in picking a nice pair of frames. The delivery was on time as well. So all in all, I'd say it was a pleasant experience

This is the fourth pair of glasses that I have made at Iris Optical - a reglazed mykita frame with a prescription violet mirror. I have always found their customer service fantastic and they are always willing to go the extra mile for unusual requests. The prices are extremely competitive. Overall I am really happy with the quality of workmanship!

My childhood years were tough, being as blind as a bat does that. The constantly changing prescription and not even a hope of decent glasses. My lenses were thick; they made the Hubble Space Telescope look lean. Yes I was less Harry Potter and more Penfold.
I looked longingly at two of my saviours, contact lenses and high index lenses but alas the prices were far too high have to keep dishing out. So it was I lived my life behind an NHS glass curtain.
