One hot Wednesday last July, the TV celebrity chef Jamie Oliver and his buddy Jimmy Doherty pulled up at our stall at Biggleswade's Farmers' Market and started selling Bedfordshire Clangers. Within a short time a large crowd formed and Jamie promised to spend a day or two helping to revitalise the Clanger and bring it to the attention of our younger customers.

As good as his word Jamie and Jimmy proceeded to develop three tasty new fillings for our Clangers. With the help of Anne Franklin supplying her farm kitchen for recipe experimentation and after a long afternoon's work, they invited us along to taste-test the new varieties.

Gunn's Bakery should seal wrap their gingerbread cookies because they tasted old and were hard. All of their other cookies were seal wrapped to keep their freshness intact. The other bakery items I purchased tasted fresh, and were much better.

I’ve been going to this place since I was kid in the 80’s! I used to sneak out of Holy Ghost School just to grab the pizza bagels. Whenever I drive up or fly in from the USA this is one of the stops. Every bite brings back childhood memories of this place!

Very very good quality products. I am really very happy to find out this bakery. I reached the shop at 07:15 in the morning and there were people already waiting for shop to open. Very cooperative staff. Honest people. I have tried cookies, bread and a couple of more products. Quality and prices impressed me. I drove from Waverley to Gunn’s and they have met my expectations. I would say they performed beyond my expectations. Everybody give a try

In my role at The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce, and my personal love of everything baked at Gunn's, they make & provide quality deliciousness here. Catering orders, special event cakes, bagels, buns, soups, and oooh, the breads! Been there, done that and continue to often. I dare you to pick only 1 item...each and every time! Thank you Gunn's for your outstanding commitment to feeding our city and for your long-standing support of The Chamber. Our happy bellies & smiles thank you.

I buy all of Gunn's breads, buns, bakery items that come up into Albert Beach (Saffie's), a few beaches way from me. I live here full time and for a long time. I love Gunn's (I am thrilled your products showed up at Saffie's), everything, we have very limited choices up here, haven't seen the bagels up here yet. Thanks so much for serving my East Side Lake Winnipeg home. We love your Light Rye. We love your pastries. I hope you still come in the winter. I also hope one day we will see your bagels up here to !

Not as good as it use to be. Spinach knish was not edible, Bitter and dry. The bagels had no flavor and terrible texture. The Hamentash was ok the chocolate babka was sub-par and dry. Ok the poppy seed was tasty.

I used to love this bakery and bought the products regularly but since the bakery was sold I feel taste a difference in the products.
The bread used to be so wonderfully delicious and moist, rich in taste but something has changed. It's still okay but not the same. The poppy seed roll is smaller and the bread complements are not as moist, rich in flavour. The knishes are still good as before. I was there yesterday and the store used to have a table in the centre where products were on display. That is no longer there. It was convenient as many times, I didn't come in for a coffee cake bit it was
