We can completely restore, re-upholster and recover any piece of furniture in keeping with the character of the furniture. Our modern furniture upholstery includes armchairs, sofas, 3 piece suites, sofa-beds, recliners.
We can replace broken springs, webbing, spring units and frames, re-fit buttons. Foam replaced where necessary using flame retardant foam (combustion modified). For our dining chairs upholstery we can provide a complete restoration service for modern and antique dining chairs and side chairs. For our commercial upholstery bar seating and bar stools can be fully restored or supplied and fitted.

Welcome to Emphil Upholstery, we are a family run business that has been established since 1987. We pride ourselves on high quality skilled workmanship and use the best traditional upholstery materials. A lot of our work is through recommendations and we have customers who come back to us time and time again.
Our antique furniture upholstery includes wing fireside chairs, drop end sofas, Victorian chairs, deep buttoning. We can completely restore, re-upholster and recover any piece of furniture in keeping with the character of the furniture. We use traditional materials for antique furniture, which includes English black and white webbing, coil springs, hessians, fibre, hair, cotton felt, tacks.
Leather repairs and recovering, replace damaged panels and re-colour to match rest of furniture where possible. We have a wide range of leather swatches in different colours and finishes available to view upon request. Corner units and window seats can be made and fitted to order, or existing seats re-upholstered and recovered.

First class excellent friendly people. We used Emphil Upholstery to recover and re-upholster the seats in our static caravan near Herne Bay.
The personal service was without fail the best we have ever experienced.
The price was excellent value for money and is no wonder this experienced and very personal service is in high demand by local establishments.
