Located on US Rte 1 South a short distance from a traffic signal and "jughandle"
Some parking on a stone lot for ~20 vehicles
Small indoor seating area for ~20ppl, smaller outdoor seating area for ~10ppl
Offering Greek classics including desserts
Friendly staff, order and your food is brought to your table
I enjoyed a Gyro Pita, traditional beef and lamb mix. Tasty but not very flavorful even with the tzatziki sauce, next time I will ask for the.hot sauce
Decent portion, fair pricing, if your in the area worth the stop
Very convenient hours, call ahead for takeout or dine in to save time

Very good casual mediterranean food done like upscale. Usually have to wait a little for service if it's busy since the restaurant is small, but I have only come here for lunch during work. Everything is pretty fresh as we have been disappointed by some lacking availability. Though I am glad they refuse to serve food below their quality standards. Seems pretty authentic (I'm not Greek), worth going for sure...Don't let the appearance fool you, it's what's inside that counts.

Attentive and very friendly service in an attractive setting, and easy to find from nearby lodging. The grilled swordfish steak was slightly on the dry side, but the lemon cream sauce compensated nicely, and the perfectly cooked/sauteed new potatoes were heavenly alongside the fish. My partner's beef mzouria was well-prepared and served; the only complaint was the lack of rolls with which to sop up the tasty gravy! Feta salad was a nicely balanced accompaniment.

Best Turkish food I've ever had. We ordered imam bayildi, lamb skewer and yogurt dip and they were amazing. The Turkish bread has great texture and Imam bayildi is perfectly cooked. The skewer is nice and juicy. I highly recommended the food here to veggies. The restaurant is very cozy and the the staff are very nice. Definitely worth the visit.

Great place, right on the side of the road. Delicious authentic food. The locale could be improved on decoration and paint, a facelift wouldn’t hurt. But do not be fooled, the ingredients are prime and the taste is really good. The staff is friendly and approachable. Really enjoyed eating there. Would definitely go back.

At about 8:30pm on a Saturday, the main options open were pubs. So we opted for Turkish.
The feta salad was feta, parsley, peppers, tomatoes, and cucumbers. A little heavy on the parsley.
I also had the moussaka, but it didn't taste anything like any moussaka I've ever had. It was baked, but had almost no spices or beef. Layered at the bottom were potatoes and aubergine and topped with cheese. It wasn't bad, just wasn't what I was expecting.

Delightful find in York. Was walking by and attracted to the wonderful view of the grill and smell of grilled meat. Beautiful atmosphere. Ordered dolmas to start. Tangy, fresh, clean. Great way to start the meal. Had the lamb Iskender plate. Perfectly grilled lamb with the buttery tomato sauce. Thick yogurt and grilled tomato tops off a delicious meal. Will come back for sure.

This restaurant is awesome all around. The grill is visible as soon as you walked in, and that always gets me hungrier! The Mediterranean decor is cool, with yellow walls and copper pans hanging on the wall. It feels spacious as well.
I had Arnavut Cigeri for starter and it was nicely done. It seems simple; yet, the combination of cold onion and mildly-seasoned chicken liver works very well. For main I had the Kapadokya Special. Again, the dish seems simply, yet it's very flavorful. I would never have thought that rice and honey go well together. Maybe it's also the salty almonds

The Kapadokya is a family run Turkish Restaurant.
Visited York on the weekend and saw the Restaurant advertised in the York brochure we picked up on the 'park and ride' bus.
It was a great change from what we normally eat and the food was excellent. We all opted for the lunch time two course special having starters and a main course. All the food was of a high standard and I must say that the courgette pancake was top notch (zucchini pancake.... on the menu for Italians and Americans ;).
The freshly baked Pita is fluffy light and ideal humous dipping ammunition.... nothing like the flat
