Services
At Proactive Physiotherapy you will benefit from prompt assessment and treatment by experienced Chartered Physiotherapists at our convenient Beaconsfield clinic. Our physiotherapists have over 15 years experience and are dedicated to working in partnership with our clients to effectively treat musculoskeletal conditions.
Our specialist physiotherapists are experienced in providing accurate diagnosis and treatment of both recent and overuse sports injuries. We work with individuals ranging from the recreational to the highly competitive sports person and aim to realise your potential and ensure your early return to sport.
At Proactive you can be assured of seeing an experienced physiotherapist who is a specialist in orthopaedics. Our therapists are experts in optimising recovery following injury, orthopaedic surgery and fractures and we work closely with specialist consultants. We provide individualised treatment, including 'hands-on' physiotherapy.
Back pain has a wide variety of causes and is often associated with lifting injuries or prolonged bending, such as sitting at a desk or gardening. Although back pain often seems to be related to a specific incident, underlying factors such as muscle imbalance, postural strain, disc degeneration or arthritis may contribute.
Shoulder pain is one of the most common complaints we treat in physiotherapy. The shoulder is made up of several joints and it relies on the co-ordinated functioning of many muscles, which leaves it vulnerable to pain and injury. As well as optimising recovery after sports injuries and fractures, we treat pain and dysfunction caused by prolonged computer work and poor posture.

I have been treated by Yvette for a while now, initially for various issues and now for ongoing maintenance. She is compassionate, caring, encouraging and excellent at her job, to the extent that I have recommended her to various family members who have also benefited from her knowledge and expertise.
