Services
At Northcote Lodge we are fortunate to have a dedicated and conscientious staff who deliver the highest level of care. The team is led by Diane Livingston, Qualified Registered Social Worker and Registered Nurse, assistant manager Jocelyn San Pedro and two deputy managers Emma Cameron and Wendy Robertson, all experienced qualified nurses.
We have a full time Activities Coordinator, plus two part - time activities assistants who organise recreational activities within the home Monday - Sunday. A range of indoor activities like bingo, knitting, bowling, exercise classes, arts & crafts and sing-a-longs are held regularly. All residents are encouraged to attend & join in.
We offer a selection of 60 en-suite rooms set across two floors and for easy access there is a lift to the upper floor. We consider ourselves lucky to have a lovely caf in the front reception area which is run by volunteers and in house staff. We have recently decorated a western theme saloon bar which is regularly frequented by our residents who fancy a change of scenery.
We are always looking to recruit hardworking and enthusiastic staff to help us provide the best quality care for our residents. It is imperative to have a caring nature and the ability to provide emotional support, as well as physical help around the home. Your communication skills must be of a high standard.

My father in law has been a resident at Northcote Lodge for nearly two years now.
The care taken by (every) staff member has been excellent from the very start.
Everyone is friendly, from the management right through to the behind the scenes maintenance team.
The home is spotless , always.
My father in law "loves" his comfortable home ,he recognises to just how lucky he is being there! His health has actually improved since taking residence.
Great Choice!

My mother loves being a resident here. She can't recommend the care standard given enough. We are pleased that she managed to get a place here after her health and mobility began to decline and she requested we identify a residential care home for her when independent living became too difficult for her.

I arrived in plenty of time, and was asked to sit on a bench type seat in the hall. Was completely forgotten about for twenty minutes, despite being directly opposite reception and the Manager wandering around looking at me! I was then approached by the receptionist and told the Manager couldn't see me after all, and I would be shown round by a member of staff when they were free. I can't comment on the care, or the home in general - and I can see this
