Marlborough Podiatry Clinic
As Marlborough's leading Podiatry Practice, Marlborough Podiatry Clinic enjoys a long-standing reputation for professional excellence. With a strong focus on attention to detail and the provision of a high standard of care, you can expect a friendly and reassuring solution to your foot problems. The Clinic is operating within the Government's guidelines with regard to sanitisation and wearing of PPE.

Patients are asked to put on a mask BEFORE entering the premises; use the desanitiser provided outside the Waiting Room door and then put on disposable gloves (which can be provided if necessary). Appointments are being booked at hourly intervals to allow time for cleaning after each treatment and to ensure that the Waiting Room remains clear.
Services
At Marlborough Podiatry Clinic we take great pride in the quality of the professional advice and treatment that you will receive. We treat patients of all ages - classically 6 weeks old to 95 years! Our aim is to ensure total foot health for you and your family, achieved by means of preventative, routine and corrective treatments.
Marlborough Podiatry Clinic provides non-judgemental patient focused treatment and advice, with reassurance, explanation and suggested ongoing foot health care. We understand that the unknown is unsettling, especially for children. Sadly, patients frequently delay treatment, hoping that the problem will solve itself - often because they are embarrassed to seek treatment or are apprehensive that treatment will hurt.
This is a sterile procedure carried out under local anaesthetic, providing a permanent solution for acute or long standing ingrowing toenails. The technique used ensures minimal discomfort both when anaesthetising and post-operatively. Only the section of nail that is causing the problem is removed and a chemical then used to prevent that area of nail growing again.
Podiatry Clinics are closed except for emergencies. Home visits are not an option and beauty salons offering pedicures are also closed - so how do you look after your feet when you can not seek help from the professionals? A quarter of the body's bones are in your feet! There are 52 of them! There are also 66 joints, 200 muscles, ligaments and tendons and some 25,000 sweat glands.

Average walking of 8,000 to 10,000 steps a day will mean that 115,000 miles will be walked in the average lifetime (80 years +/-). A marathon runner's feet will hit the road approximately 800 - 1000 times a minute, for 26 miles!
