DB Shoes, established in 1920 specialises in the design and manufacture of wide and deep fitting footwear. Many of the shoes in our collection are made in our Rushden factory, by craftsmen with many years of experience. Look out for the symbol denoting manufactured in England (see below). We offer seven fittings - from a High Street E fitting up to 8E.

With over 400 styles and colours, we have the largest collection of wide fitting shoes available in the UK. We are pleased to be recognized by the Healthy Footwear Guide. Look for this symbol which denotes 'healthy shoes', as recommended by the Healthy Footwear Guide. Our shoes are made by experienced craftsmen using a mixture of traditional skills and the latest robotic technology.
Services
We understand that everyone is unique - and so are their feet. Everyone's feet are different in size, shape and width. We offer seven width fittings - from extra wide to extremely wide and deep, so whatever the shape and size of your feet, we can guarantee the perfect fit.

Our designers have taken great care to ensure that not only will our shoes improve the comfort of your feet, but with hundreds of style and colour options to choose from, you will be able to find the perfect fitting shoe for any occasion, without sacrificing style.VAT exemption is available for certain medical conditions; your medical advisor will be able to advise you.
At first glance, you may think all our shoes look 'normal' - that they will never fit wider or 'difficult' feet. But pictures can be deceiving! No two feet are the same, so why do High Street shoes only offer one fitting? We understand this - so our shoes are available in seven width fittings - so you can get the PERFECT FIT for your individual feet.
Wash your feet every day in warm soapy water (don't soak them, as this might destroy the natural oils) and dry them thoroughly, especially between the toes. If your skin is dry, apply moisturising cream all over the foot, other than between the toes. Trim your toe nails regularly, using nail clippers.
Arthritis can affect the joints in the feet causing pain, including osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. For arthritis suffers, the key consideration when choosing shoes is comfort. House shoes from Wider Fit Shoes may be the answer for you - they're as soft as a slipper, but as supportive as a shoe, and so soft and comfortable, you'll forget you have them on.
A corn is a build-up of hard skin near a bony area of a toe or between toes. Corns may be caused by pressure from shoes that rub against the toes or cause friction between them. After you have a bath or shower, while your skin is still soft, pumice use a stone or an emery board to smooth and gently remove the build-up of tissue.

DB Shoes are the best wide fit shoes I have ever had. I have used them for years, and had many pairs of shoes and slippers from them and never had to return them they fit perfectly both shoes and slippers. They are comfortable and allow me to walk better due to the soft linings and the good fit. they would have five stars but they are expensive even with the vat removed for my swollen legs and feet., Note you don't pay vat on the widest fitting if you have swollen feet and legs, you must ask for the vat to be removed but they do show the price with and without vat. I recommend DB Shoes to all that

One location with 2 shops. The upstairs shop is the general footwear shop stocking lots of different brands including Sketcher, Marco Tozzi and Dunlop at great prices for ladies, men’s and children. Access is up a fligh of stairs. The Wider Fit Shoes downstairs shop specialises in wide fitting shoes and shoes with deep toe boxes and is easily accessed by a ramp. Free on street parking.

Bought 2 pairs of DB easy b wide-fitting sandals from a Cleveleys shop. They are both so hard underfoot as to be unwearable even with thick socks. Wore one pair for a couple of hours shopping today. They made the soles of my feet really sore. I never thought it was possible to be traumatized by a pair of sandals. But they made the soles of my feet so red and sore I can hardly bear to look at them again, yet alone wear them. £150 down the drain.

Awful experience. i struggled to get in the place with two young children only to be met by a very rude woman who snubbed me, she looked down her nose at myself and my children asked who required shoes. i asked for my childs feet to be measured the woman said 'we don't do childrens shoes here'
i said 'your sign says you fit childrens shoes' the woman then said 'yes but upstairs, and you won't get up there with your children, sorry'
i was surprised by her attitude. she clearly didnt want to assist me and couldnt get me out of there quick enough!
shockingly horrible staff shall take my custom

Bought a pair of sandles from DB Shoes very uncomfortable made of cheap plastic material soles are so hard on feet they made my ankles swell. No wonder they were in a sale. My father went there once to buy some shoes and slippers the service was bad the lady who served us was not very helpful and my father spent over £150 in there, I think it was the same lady who served me there last week she was quiet offish gave me a blank face Wont be going there no more.

The shoes I ordered turned to be the wrong size. I was on a holiday and I have missed the deadline for returning the shoes. I sent an email request but have received n answer. But I am still bombarded with promotional emails.
