Starting with the Prudential Assurance Co. Ltd. for 10 years followed by a further 5 years with the Scottish Mutual Assurance Society. At this stage Roy realised his desire to have his own business opening an office in his home town of Maldon in 1977. The people at this agency are knowledgeable about Yorkshire Building Society products. Savings accounts pay good interest rates compared to other banks and building societies.
