South Cary House is situated in the beautiful historic market town of Castle Cary. The Grade 11 listed Georgian house is set in its own grounds of approximately one acre but is still within walking distance of the town. There is a regular bus service to Yeovil and Shepton Mallet and Castle Cary has a train station with regular services on the London to Plymouth line.

Services
Decoration throughout the home is very elegant and tasteful. We cater for up to twenty-three residents. The private rooms are spacious, and all the rooms exceed the minimum standard of twelve square metres. Each room has en-suite facilities, a 24 hour emergency call system and all have their own private telephone.
The staff, at South Cary House, maintain very high standards of care and every effort is made to achieve a good quality of life for the residents. The majority of our staff has achieved NVQ level 2 or 3 in Direct Care. We offer an excellent ratio of staff to resident care, and we also have two staff on duty throughout the night to cater for all the residents' needs.
The quality of our food is one of our highest priorities. Nutritional and balanced meals are paramount to good health and well-being. Our Chef Donna designs and prepares our menus with the support and assistance from her well trained team. Donna, has recently been recognised for her culinary delights and was a shortlisted nominee in the Great British Care Awards.
