A little bit of pressure can be motivating, increase productivity, and improve performance. However, prolonged pressure can lead to stress, affecting the health of your mind and body. For centuries, across the world, massage touch has been shown to be emotionally and physically healing. Massage has been used as a communication and comforting medium, working with your body's natural repair system.

As an holistic massage therapist, I use massage treatment to manipulate muscle and other soft tissues, to potentially improve your overall health and well-being. Come for a visit, and expect a warm and professional welcome in a relaxing treatment room at 83 South Street in Dorking.

The word "Holistic" comes from the Greek Holos meaning whole. Holistic massage touch treats each client as a whole person, considering mind, body and spirit, and not just the symptom or disease. This is achieved by working with the body's natural ability to balance, regulate, heal and maintain itself.
Indian Head Massage is also known as Champissage TM, a Hindi word meaning 'Head Massage' from which the word 'shampoo' is derived. Indian head Massage is a massage therapy that works specifically on the area of the head, scalp and face, neck and extending to the shoulders and upper back. It is based on the traditional form of head massage practised in India for over 1,000 years.
This ancient Ayurvedic treatment involves working on the feet and legs with simple and effective massage techniques. Ghee (clarified butter) or oils are applied and the feet and legs are massaged using the hands and a small Kansa Vatki bowl, leaving the whole body refreshed and relaxed. This treatment is good for everyone and ideal for those who spend long hours on their feet.

Excellent massage, in-depth knowledge of anatomy and bio-mechanics of the body. Careful assessment of what the body needs, not just a following of the textbook routine.
