Safely removing asbestos requires a highly trained specialist contractor, to carry out safe removal and disposal of the material.
Full Circle Compliance have asbestos samples analysed within a UKAS accredited laboratory. Sampling and analysis of materials for presence of asbestos is normally undertaken to comply with CAWR 2012. The purpose of the analysis is to determine the presence and type(s). Exposure to asbestos occurs when in poor condition or it's disturbed, releasing harmful fibres in the air we breathe.
Air monitoring in many instances is a legal requirement and the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 (CAR 2012) makes reference to air monitoring in several of the Regulations. Full Circle Compliance will ensure all of your air testing requirements are met and in line with current guidelines.

Background sampling to establish fibre concentrations before any activity which may lead to airborne asbestos contamination; leakage testing to ensure that the steps taken to prevent the enclosure leaking are and remain effective and it is not releasing airborne respirable fibres; reassurance sampling, which may be conducted in certain circumstances to confirm that the residual asbestos fibre concentrations are static sampling to assess asbestos fibre concentrations inside enclosures before entry for a visual inspection.
ISO 17020: IS0/IEC 17020 is a competence standard required for undertaking asbestos surveys in all building sectors, including industrial, commercial and domestic. IS0 17025: ISO/IEC 17025 is a competence standard required to test for asbestos fibre, air sampling and microscopic counting of asbestos in the air.
