Comprising of offices, reception and comfortable waiting area, you will be afforded a warm welcome with complimentary drinks. Our maintenance facilities have been inspected and approved by VOSA. Our customer bank ranges from the general public and sole operators to complete fleets offering full servicing and preventative maintenance, inspection and repair subject to operators licensing.
Due to the current situation, the government have announced a temporary 6 month extension for MOT's. You must still keep your car in a roadworthy condition during this extension. Super happy with my experience with tackwood (always am anyway) car was due to go in for service&MOT on Tuesday (today), took car in yesterday & they had a cancellation so managed to get my car done yesterday! All in the space of 3-4 hours I had my car back! Not saying this will happen every time but it did me a massive favour ☺️ 100% recommend.

Took my van in for a service. It came back with a broken dipstick so I could not check oil.My undertray was missing, they never informed me of 2 dangerous tyres on the back and I also had a bad CV boot leaking.
When I questioned them they did not care at all. So really disappointed with the service and would strongly not recommend them to anyone

Can highly recommend Tackwood MOT & Service Centre 🙏
Had a clicking noise from my front brakes, they identified the problem quickly - the pad had separated from the shoe 😳 called me with the problem asked for my authorisation to fit new ones giving me the price and within the hour my car was ready for collection.
They showed me the pad on… collection and advised that the brakes will feel soft until the new pads bed in.
Brilliant and professional service with no upsale 5* and price was also brilliant considering the type of car 👏👏 cheers guys and girls

Fantastic service from Darren for my car’s first service - he even picked it up from my home and dropped it back again afterwards! Very polite, friendly and efficient service right from my first phone call to get a quote (which was very reasonable compared to other local garages). The car was returned fully sanitised too. Very happy - highly recommend.

Took my car for a full service. Friendly helpful staff, no hidden extras, and it was a reasonable price too. Clear and honest communication without trying to be over technical or patronising. Reasonable covid-19 precautions including post service sanitising of interior. Overall great experience and will definitely use again.
