This was stop No 4 on our NC500 trip and definitely scores very highly out of all our stops. The inclusive dinner we booked with our stay was outstanding and the staff went the extra mile as it was our honeymoon. Got some good single malt tasting advice in the bar at the end of the evening. The room was clean, light and airy with a view of the river. Breakfast was very good and throughout it all the staff were friendly and attentive. This is an extremely good value for money stop in NE Scotland. We would definitely recommend and will be back the next time we are this far north again.

Stayed as part of the NC500 route, a great little hotel. I think it is family run, and the owners are warm and welcoming. They took us to our room which was well sized, but dated.
It felt like staying at your grandmothers, but that did give it a 'homely, honest' feel. Water pressure wasn't amazing either. There is no dedicated parking either.
However the food was very very good. Award winning, in fact. We had a slap up dinner in the restaurant and I must say that it was possibly one of the best of the entire trip.
