Services
Our new Autumn menu features our fantastic seasonal dishes perfect for Autumn & Winter including our beautifully braised (and honey glazed) baby gammon. These come along with pub classics including our Brewery Tower Burger, MPA battered fish & chips and legendary cheese pie, perfect for getting warm and cosy with friends and family.
Being on the doorstep of and owned by a family brewery means that cask ale is at the heart of our pub and we serve the best in the area. Aside from the local favourites including Bitter and MPA, expect to find limited edition seasonal ales on the bar throughout the year as well as our fantastic Manchester Craft Lager.
A great local Chadderton community pub and restaurant to celebrate with friends and family. We have our restaurant area plus The Vault which is a private area complete with all the amenities to be the perfect place to host your special occasion with us. Get in touch with us and our team will work together with you to ensure that your event is perfect.
Lancaster Park & Animal Farm is just a short two minute walk away from us. There, you and your little ones will be able to experience getting up close with the small wildlife and farm animals. There are also a number of child friendly rides that have been added to the farm, which should keep them entertained.

Service was excellent. Friendly and quick. I had the homemade lasagne - delicious followed by apple crumble, also very tasty. JW Manchester lager was a good choice to accompany the meal.

The food is fine, service was good, BUT £6 for a glass of coke! Come on guys. Update.. sadly I don't have the receipt, and I'm not mistaken and neither was the lady on the table behind us who alerted us to the price, for her it was lemonade.

Visited for a family meal as we have relatives in the area. The lounge/restaurant is quite pleasant and the staff friendly.
Food offerings are pretty standard pub fare, delivered to an average level. Price point is maybe a little high for the quality.
Bar is as expected from a Lees house, okay but nothing too exciting nor interesting.
Nice enough place for a couple of drinks and a simple meal, if you're in the area.

Went here on Saturday for a meal with a few friends, and a good night was had by all. Meal's were nice and very filling, everyone enjoyed it. We even had an extra guest, who informed me less than 30 minutes before we were due to sit. Not a problem, just another seat at the top of the table. Absolutely brilliant, will b going again, I've no doubt about that

Beer pub only, avoid the food at all
costs! Been in to give it another go to many times now and still haven’t had a nice meal. Good location to stop off for a drink but crisps and peanuts are the only things I’ll be eating from here

Prior to lock down this was a great pub. My last visit, I walked into the "vault/snug" and stood there for five minutes before struggling with a crutch and suitcase through to the lounge bar, where I was given a requested drink, please note I did not say served, by some sneering oik behind the bar.
Sorry I wanted a drink. Sorry I went into the wrong bar *maybe a bit of paper telling us to go to the other bar would be okay*
Sorry I dragged my friend there to pick me up.

Three of us had a lunchtime meal earlier today! What a fantastic pub with excellent food and reasonably priced. Our server was I think called Heather 🤔 What a gem of an acquisition you have got there! 👏 Friendly, professional and a lovely personality! 😍 My only small gripe was the price of the drinks, a little bit overpriced I thought. £3 for a pint of post-mix coke???

I always have a very positive experience when I dine at this pub. The staff are all very friendly and attentive and the food always comes out hot and well presented. The portion sizes are generous and everything is very tasty, it seems like traditional pub grub but of a higher standard than the usual. I like the decor as well, and its in a pretty location just off the canal.
