Cara Wagstaff is the creative force behind bridal boutique Cocoa Couture. Cara has dressed a generation of women on their special days as well as many other high profile occasions.
Having graduated from Loughborough, under the late Winfred Aldridge, Cara first started out as a visual merchandiser for Richard shops in London, where she travelled the country teaching junior merchandisers how to create visually exciting window displays to entice and excite the public.

For the initial consultation, we advice that you book in 6-12 months prior to the wedding date. Bring along any inspiration images you may have, if you haven't gotten this far into the journey, do not worry, we will help you narrow down your ideas. We kindly advise that client photography is not permitted unless it is of your commissioned gown.
Cocoa Couture working closely with our partner Jocelyn Banks offer a collection of ideas, inspiration and commissions for the mother of the bride and other members of the wedding party. I started my career in 1988 having studied fashion at Stafford Art College.
Over the passing years my career has taken many twists and turns and has allowed me to develop an extensive knowledge and understanding of design in many different segments of the fashion industry.I have been lucky enough to have worked with distinguished designers including Paul Smith and Vivienne Westwood, as well as several leading designer labels and high street brands.

Rebecca was awarded the South west Photographer of the Year in 2015 by the British Institute of Professional Photographers (BIPP), and has been photographing weddings and other events for over 15 years. Cara is FABULOUS - She has made me my wonderfully OTT dream dress and coat in pink silk and red velvet for my 50th birthday Sat 8/3/14
It's taken us a lovely long time to design it from scratch and lots of lovely attentive trying ons to make it perfect
I've enjoyed every second and can't wait to show it off to all my favourite people at my party

I cannot for the life of understand a negative review of this shop. I went to Cocoa without an appointment and was greeted with nothing but helpfulness and kindness and I certainly don't look like I have money to burn. My wedding (Sept 2010) had to be arranged within 4 weeks due to an immediate family members poor health and they performed absolute wonders for me. The manageress Ella accepted my calls whilst abroad on holiday and the lovely Cara was unfailing in her search for the perfect accessories to my dress despite my silly superstitions of no pearls! I felt always like I was a princess
