Teward Recycling Ltd has recognised for some time that more needs to be done with waste in this Country, it is a potential resource to be used again rather than a problem that has to be buried. By implementing environmentally friendly waste treatment processes it is not only helping the environment, but also customers to meet their corporate social responsibility and environmental commitments.
At our recycling transfer facility in Darlington waste comes onto the recycling area where we sort it into different categories such as wood, cardboard, metal, soil, hardcore and rubbish; each category then goes to its individual area for further recycling.
Any wood that comes in gets chipped and is used in power facilities; metals sorted into ferrous and non -ferrous to be recycled; cardboard/paper is compacted and baled for reuse; hardcore is crushed on site to a Type 1, 6F5 or 75-40mm Clean material for reuse.The subsoil is reused for restoration projects.

Teward Recycling Ltd is very proud to say that we recycle 95% of the materials that we pick up. This is all done in County Durham where we also produce many recycled aggregate products. We supply and deliver these aggregates to our customers in Co Durham, The Dales, Teesside, North Yorkshire and Tyne & Wear.
We can offer a full range of skips to meet all your waste disposal requirements, same day delivery and collection if required. Skip sizes 2, 4, 8, 10 and 12 yard are available. Reports can be generated for Waste Management Reporting regarding waste segregation often required by most construction sites.
