All of my life I have had a passion for motors, and I started working in the industry at the age of 16. With a wealth of experience and passion, I decided to set up my own garage in Lutterworth in 2005. My parents car was towed here by the AA They knew what was wrong with it AA knew what was wrong with it and all was arranged the next day to be repaired. 2 days later they phone up with a list of extra items costing over £500. We said no it's too much so they charged my parents £35 for looking at it. Total disgrace. My parents went down picked up the car drove it out and to another garage and paid £150. Would never recommend this garage, especially if you are old and vulnerable.

My car was given immediate attention after I suspected a fault. I was supplied with a decent courtesy car which was convenient. Very professional booking in procedures etc and very polite staff. Very experienced mechanics. I will now only use HAMMONDS

I’m pregnant and due in 2 weeks. I’m having to be cautious in the outside world with Coronavirus but my car’s MOT was overdue. Hammond Automotive helped me schedule the MOT via email (much easier with limited mobile signal), collected it and returned it with no extra charge. Really easy, friendly and courteous service. Been down to Hammond’s today to get a price for some work on my car, I thought it was going to be expensive but I was pleasantly surprised it was a LOT less than expected, and not only that they managed to get the job done straight away. What a fantastic service and the staff are really friendly! They even made me a cup of tea whilst I waited! Thank you to the Hammond team!
