The Buccleuch Centre
We are delighted to announce that The Buccleuch Centre Autumn/Winter 2021 programme of events is now on sale online and at the box office. The box office at the Centre is now open for face-to-face and telephone bookings. Everything should be back to normal by then, so we can all get back to enjoying some live entertainment!

The Buccleuch Centre in Langholm is a modern, fully accessible events venue with automatic doors, no steps and wide open spaces for easy access. We are fully licensed and have a well stocked bar with a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Services
Tracey and Eric are CastleView Catering, our highly esteemed in house caterers at the Buccleuch Centre. We offer a good choice of home made lunches and light snacks from 12.00pm - 2.30pm, including a soup of the day, with a wonderful array of home baking on offer and a Barista to make you coffee just how you like it from 10.30am.
This room is upstairs and suitable for meetings up to 20 people boardroom style, other set-ups are available. Our auditorium is capable of seating up to 260 in tiered seating or up to 150 cabaret style. We have a cinema sized screen and this space is suitable for productions, shows, lectures, presentations and cinema screenings or with the tiered seating retracted, the space is able to be used for parties, dinner dances, craft markets etc.
As a registered charity SC036484 The Buccleuch Centre faces the constant challenge of meeting its running costs. Ticket sales alone are not enough to cover the ever increasing expenses we face which is why we value and welcome our patrons. To become a patron of the Buccleuch Centre simply register HERE and pay the annual subscription of 10 per person by cheque or sign up to pay by annual direct debit.
The Buccleuch Centre could not function without its loyal army of volunteers. Covering such tasks as front of house, duty managers, box office clerks and coffee shop helpers our willing band of volunteers give their time freely and generously.

Front of House: we have up to 4 Front of House volunteers for each show, they show people to their seats and generally help our audience should they need it and sell ice cream during the interval, they can also sit in at the show if they want.
By donating today or leaving The Buccleuch Centre a legacy, you are making a real difference to the future success of this rural gem of a theatre. We are an arts charity and have no owners or shareholders; every pound you give goes into keeping theatre and music alive in Langholm. The Buccleuch Centre is a registered charity and could not exist without your support and generosity.

Nice wee venue. I was there with lochgelly band playing in the Borders Entertainment Contest hosted by Langholms very own town band. The centre staff were fantastic feeding and watering all of us hungry and thirsty bandspeople.

My wife and I had lunch at the center cafe soon after it had re-opened, following easing of the lock-down. Staff were welcoming, the food excellent value and the coffee was great - thanks a lot! As new residents to Langholm we now look forward to concerts starting up at the venue again from September...

A really good venue with reasonable access and excellent staff. The catering was really good my one negative was that access to the first floor because their lift wasn't working was unavailable. The staff did find a solution and our meeting was able to go ahead. Well done to the staff!
