All the meats supplied for our events, functions, supper nights, and breakfast club are now sourced locally from other farm shops and suppliers with the same ethical beliefs and practices as ourselves. If you are looking for a charming venue for your wedding, party, corporate event or countryside gathering to celebrate a special occasion then Talton Mill in the heart of rural Warwickshire, is the right place for you.

Our onsite rustic Mill Woodhouse is a rustic, charming venue and is situated on the site of the old Mill, alongside the millstream. We offer venues at Talton Mill for a variety of different special events from tea parties to family gatherings, weddings to field feasts, meetings to workshops, blessings to BBQ's on our woodland island.
Services
Talton Mill is a 30 acre smallholding nestled in an idyllic setting alongside the river Stour in rural Warwickshire 5 miles south of Stratford Upon Avon. It has been farmed by the Holberton family for over 60 years. Today, in addition to running regular supper nights, Breakfast Club, indoor and outdoor arts and craft workshops and various events and private functions, we sell our own home reared meat in our farm butchery.
The Mill Woodhouse is a magical retreat and a far cry from the hustle and bustle of the city. Its wooden floor planks, walls and shabby chic furniture brings the outside in. The gentle lighting and twinkling fairy lights cast a warm, welcoming glow over your guests. It comfortably seats 60-75 people depending upon the layout and arrangement.
Nestled alongside our beautiful Mill stream, the canopy extends beyond the Mill Woodhouse. It can be hired separately or in conjunction with the Woodhouse depending upon the size of your event. It can comfortably seat 30 to 40 people on trestle tables and benches and further marquees can be added if you wish.
The Mill Island is a heavenly woodland retreat which is partially surrounded by the Millstream pool. It is ideal for a photo setting, a BBQ, a post-wedding breakfast or whatever you wish! From Mad Hatter tea parties to Enid Blyton style adventures to BBQ's and woodland picnics it is a truly magical place to create something very special for you, your family and friends.
Come and join us for a relaxed, informal workshop learning new skills. Whether you are a complete beginner or a more confident artist crafter, we have workshops to suit you and you are guaranteed a warm welcome. Have fun with like-minded people and get creative! Our arts and crafts workshops include coffee on arrival and a light lunch too!

A good COVID-19 secure option with plenty of covered seating. Options for vegan/veggie too, though a few pastry options for light breakfast would be welcome, other than just the toast and preserves that are offered.

Best black pudding in all the land. The chickens are direct descendents from bloody dinosaurs, massive birds, size of those bones!!! Love getting a fresh warm mince pie to crumb up my beard for the drive home. The bacon is unreal. Some skilled butchery for sure. Amazing gluten free cakes too. What a spot. Even the dog is golden. Ultimate vibes.

Lovely venue, great for our 4 year old to walk around. Very much enjoyed my pork slider and went home with 4 bits of cake which went down a treat. Will be going back for sure.

I have been visiting talton mill for a few years now. The cafe serves such delicious and fresh produce and the butchers is excellent. Mark the farmer is very enthusiastic about how well reared his animals are. I wouldn't want to buy my Sunday roasting meat from anywhere else.!!

Where do I begin! This place is fantastic! It has a quintessential rustic charm to it. The food is locally sourced or grown (often from their own farm). The team are always exuberant and welcoming.
Highly recommend trying the monstrous and delicious all day breakfast....the big one of course, the bacon is cooked to perfection!

We are from Nottingham and we were looking for a farm shop. After a while we found this place, but it was a bit far. The review were so great that we actually decided to give it a try. And it's really worth it ! When you enter you can ear the hens, see the cows and sheeps. The tiny shop smell so good. Food look great and tasty. But the part we enjoy the most is the butchery. You want to buy everything. And the butcher is such a lovely guy (as the rest of the team).
We would recommend it for sure and come back again.

The most superb food we've had in a very long time. Pulled beef with horseradish cream which melted in the mouth. Fresh home produced meat grown and cooked with respect which tasted sublime. All wrapped up with a warm and friendly welcome. We will be back on a regular basis.

First time visit to the cafe for our usual breakfast outing. There are a few places around offering breakfast and competition is tough. Well I can tell you you will not be disappointed the breakfast was excellent especially the sausages. From the outside it did look bleak but it's a wet January day in spring it would be totally different. Inside was quirky and well set out lovely people serving give it a go you won't be disappointed.

A true example of sustainable farming. This wonderful farm shop sells homegrown and local produce for a fair and reasonable price.
It is great to see 'the old farm shop' back in action as a unique, cozy cafe, open Thursday to Sunday. From freshly ground espresso coffee to delicious cake and doorstep sandwiches - all made with produce from the shop.
Mark, Lisa and the team have created a very special place which I am lucky to live so close to.

Full disclosure: a friend of mine works at Talton Mill Farm Shop, but this is the only reason I know of its existence!
Just like any farm shop, Talton Mill sells home grown and locally produced items. Meat from animals reared on the farm, dairy products from their own cattle, fruit & vegetables grown on the farm, plus many items from nearby contributors. There are home baked cakes & scones and all the things you would expect to find in a health food store, all very reasonably priced.
On top of all that, there's the service. I was greeted with a smile and a hearty "Good morning!" and offered a

Well. Despite the spelling error it's TAlton Mill this is my wonderful local shop.

Fresh veg, fruit, their own eggs, meat (wow and wasn't the rib if beef fab!), as well as Amanda's super flowers and Lisa's home made pies, you just can't go wrong!
