First Care Homes is a small and perfectly formed private care homes and retirement homes group with homes in Ipswich and Cambridge. At Park View we are very proud that we have never required agency staff for resident care. We manage this by always over recruiting to our team and having our own bank staff who also cover shifts.

We visited our dear friend at park view . What a pleasure to visit from the smile of the lovely receptionist to the staff on the middle floor who nothing was two much trouble , the gentleman in white uniform very polite and his communication fantastic with resident. Loved who I been informed who is now in charge of the middle floor smiling going past staff saying thank you which I think goes a long way to how she reacts with residents, I may have only been visiting but was total impressed. Not been for ages but she a huge difference in the home for the middle floor . Park view is striving for excellence

I would like to say it was a pleasure calling park view yesterday. I phoned the home late Saturday . I spoke to the head of care on the middle floor . She was very helpful as I apologised for calling late but I had been working. She said please don’t worry . She gave me details about the home said I could arrange to come and visit and if it was late she would stay to see me . I declined however she gave me the home managers contact and hers and said they could send a brochure out . I declined as the purpose of calling was to gage response from home . As I am currently looking for a placement

My father recently decided opted for assisted care. It was a big step as it meant leaving the family home but he seemed determined to make the change. The visit was very well received and the residents all seemed happy and the activities were enjoyable.
My father couldn't wait to move after the visit. He has been there for several weeks now and absolutely loves it. He has made a few new friends and said the staff are very friendly and helpful, which was my biggest worry!
All-in-all I think Park View is a great home :)

Email passed on from George as he doesnt use the Internet for accounts & so forth was his comment.
I wouldn't normally look a home on the south side of Ipswich as I live up in Woodbridge so I waited for 6 months after it opened after hearing excellent reports about this care home.
I went round with my wife 3 weeks ago & I was very impressed by both the building & staff; people actually looked like they were having fun & were treated with respect.
My wife's mother is now a resident & she is very happy.
