There are some of those among us who love the countryside but maybe aren't enamoured by the thought of staying on a campsite! Perfectly situated between Exmoor and Dartmoor, we can be found almost halfway between Tiverton and South Molton on the B3137 in Nomansland, mid Devon.
Services
You can choose from a wide range of accommodation options that enable you and your family to holiday safely together. You are welcome to take walks across the farm, spend time at the river or the fishing lake, or enjoy the wilds of Exmoor just a short drive away.

Our farm shop has been providing a very wide range of produce during the pandemic, including our own fresh milk, pork, beef and lamb, and will continue to serve the local community and visitors staying on the farm.We have generous pitches spread across three different fields: the Spot, the Camping Field and Mary's field.
West Middlewick is a traditional dairy farm situated in the heart of Devon. Most of the food eaten by the animals is grown and harvested on the farm. Our sustainable approach to farming means we are planting meadows with wildflowers, looking after trees that are several hundred years old and maintaining our hedgerows so that they are full of food and shelter for wildlife.
Our extended farm shop provides the great taste of West Middlewick free range farm produce including our award-winning raw milk which we bottle fresh every day. Find out more about our milk and the benefits of drinking raw milk here. We are also now selling West Middlewick pasteurised milk. Fruit - please order in advance for collection.
There are many attractions - but perhaps the biggest thing that keeps most of our campers coming back year after year, is the opportunity to see life on a working farm. Aside from the animals and the rural countryside we have listed the main attractions for campers to enjoy. You'll find it's pretty varied as there is something for everyone!
Perfectly situated between Exmoor and Dartmoor, we can be found almost halfway between Tiverton and South Molton on the B3137 in mid Devon. The farm is a mile west of the small hamlet of Nomansland and a mile to the east of Witheridge. Everybody loves the Satnav - us too but sometimes they're a little bit off the mark.

Spent a lovely 4 day break over Christmas In the Otter Lodge, could not have asked for more. The lodge was beautifully decorated, real Christmas tree and Christmas ornaments in all rooms, really made our Christmas complete. We managed to order most of our provisions from the farm shop, nothing was too much trouble for the owners, excellent place to stay.

We camped in my van here for one night and I can't compliment this place enough. A beautiful site with lovely healthy animals and great facilities. The price per night was really good too.
The staff were super friendly and not flustered at all by the rush of customers picking up their Christmas food orders whilst we were checking out.
Looking forward to coming back soon :)

I cannot rate West Middlewick Farm highly enough. What a fantastic place to stay! Everybody so friendly and helpful. You can walk around this working farm (within reason) and visit the Calves, Pigs, Goats and various other animals. The cabins are kept to a very high standard and the farm shop is well stocked with the essentials, a supermarket and local shops in Tiverton are a short drive away. Nice local walks and a couple of pubs nearby serving good food.
Very hard to find a place that is dog friendly and so welcoming. We had a great time.

We spent 6 days at the farm in the overflow field. Main camping field is adjacent to farm sheds and where pigmy goats, ducks and chickens come out to mingle.
Overflow field has cows in adjacent field but far enough away they never bothered our dogs.
Nice farm shop on site, open every day.
Toilet blocks were clean
Bin area was my only disappointment, as dumpsters were very dirty and at the area around could do with tidying. Dog bin was not emptied while we were there so was very smelly.
Nice people though, very friendly and half decent views from the overflow field.

Stayed for half a week camping. Nice plot. Good facilities. Friendly owners. Lots of animals to spend a bit of time with. Farm shop is cool and sell fresh made on spot milkshakes. Charge for Wi-Fi is madness though

The cabins are great, home from home experience. John and Team are great, friendly and very welcoming. We were aloud to wonder the working farm and look at the animals they keep. An amazing experience for the kids too. Definitely recommend 👌 👍

An enjoyable peaceful stay at West Middlewick Farm with lovely views of surrounding countryside. Friendly and welcoming family with a farm shop that is clearly popular with the locals as well as visitors. Facilities basic but everything that you need and always clean. The animals were my highlight. The pods and lodges looked lovely too. Keep up the good work Gibson family.

What a fantastic little farm, we stayed for a week in a tent and the farmer and his wife couldn't have been more helpful towards us. They went above and beyond to provide a perfect service and we will definitely be going back for more time at the farm. It is a working dairy farm so expect noises and smells as any farm would have but I never noticed any strong smells neither did I get woken by any animals so something to bear in mind there. The farm is open to people for a wander to check out all the animals they have, we went at a time where some calfs were being born and it was amazing to see

We had a lovely time camping here. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. The kids absolutely loved being able to see all the animals (as did us grown ups!) Facilities were clean and worked well. Fantastic farm shopped that stocked all sorts of tasty treats, including the freshest, tastiest milk and milkshakes we've ever had. A great spot for families, highly recommended a visit here. We are keen to stay again.
