Meni Farkash Yoga
Our yoga workshops can be a full day, morning, or even a few hours, allowing you to experience a more in-depth practice to gain a better understanding of the dynamic alignment within each posture as well as the possible modification and contradictions. Yoga therapy helps to restore your health and balance by creating a personal programme of yoga techniques that is specifically designed for you.

This yoga therapy practice will empower you to look after your own body using an integrated mind-body approach. Practicing Yoga creates a healthier body - both physically and emotionally. I offer weekly classes in Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa, and Power Yoga where I use my experience of these different styles to create a balanced and theraputic practice for people of all ages and fitness levels.
Services
The practice of Yoga has two main aspects to it, asanas and pranayama, both of these work on the mental, emotional and physical body. Asanas refer to the physical part of the practice, the part where we stretch and lengthen our muscles using different types of postures. Asanas are designed to strengthen our bodies, to release tension in the muscles and joints and to increase the health of the bodily organs.
Yoga was first taught on a personal level, where the teacher would create a unique practice to allow the student to develop according to their own personal needs. Although all can benefit from a general level class it is through an individual consultation that the teacher can build a programme "tailored" specifically to the individual to help them start or progress on their yogic journey.
Periodically, we arrange weekend or weekly yoga retreats here in the UK and overseas. These retreats are a great opportunity to take a break from the hustle and bustle of daily life and enjoy yoga sessions with like-minded people in peaceful surroundings. The objective of our retreats is to deepen and further an existing practice or to introduce new friends to the practice of yoga.
The aim of these workshops is to experience a more in-depth practice than our normal hour long classes. These longer sessions allow us more time to look at each posture in more depth to help you understand the dynamic alignment within each posture as well as the possible modification and contradictions.
Consultation is key to establish one's imbalance and to devise a plan to restore balance and health. During our consultation I will be asking you about your past and present medical history, your current main disorders as well as family history. As well as medical information, we will be looking at your sleep patterns, your eating habits and your overall energy levels.

I have just returned from the most amazing weekend yoga retreat with Meni; it was totally relaxing but I learned so much - not just about yoga, but breath work too. The food was incredible and the downtime spent in the sauna and plunge pool was wonderful. Meni’s breadth of knowledge about yoga, breathing and the biomechanics of the body is comprehensive, but more than that, he weaves the knowledge into themes that are so relevant to daily life and, as a good teacher, makes it totally accessible. Thank you 🙏

€The most important thing about choosing to do a yoga teacher training, is the teacher.
If Meni was anywhere in the world he would be a standout teacher. We are incredibly lucky that he is here in south and West Wales, and that’s the number one reason I did the course.
Finding someone to learn from who has a blend of deep knowledge and authentic practice, with decency, humility and a light-hearted fun and engaging teaching style is pretty rare and incredibly valuable

Meni is an excellent teacher! I looked forward to attending his foundation course each month. An extremely experienced practitioner with so much knowledge and understanding of this ancient subject. I love that Meni's teaching focuses beyond yoga asana, something which we all need in today's hectic world.

I had recently decided to no longer take the contraceptive pill due to my age. Without it however, i get adult acne and psoriasis on both my scalp and eyelid. I had been reading around Ayurveda and somebody recommended Meini to me. Meini was professional and very knowledgable. He also gave me food and activities recommendations as well as herbs to take in order to calm my pitta down. Within a week my psoriasis had all gone and no major breakouts. I have been off the pill 2 months now and so far everything has been great. Id just like to take some time to thank Meini for helping me so much on this

Meni foundation yoga course is One of my favourite courses I’ve been on I’ve loved every month and learned so much , I couldn’t agree more with all the other comments above , Meni’s passion for yoga really shines through ! I wish it wasn’t ending and we could do a foundation course part 2! 🙏🏼

The course is well balanced with physical asana instructions and an introduction to the many other elements of yoga which extend far beyond the mat, and personally speaking have helped me through some difficult situations. Thank you Meni!

So I decided to do the 60 hr yoga foundation course with Meni to gain a better understanding of yoga philosophy and practices , gain confidence in my own practice and improve my class practice .
It’s given me all that and more . The one day a month with Meni is a real treat . We’ve had a fabulous diverse group of all levels who have enjoyed lively discussion and enabled us to learn about adjustments in practice .
